Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 90 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

If FRONTLINE Plus is to be applied after a bath, make sure your pet is completely dry before application. FRONTLINE Plus remains effective for 30 days, even if your pet swims or is bathed. After application, keep your pet from getting wet for 24 hours.

How soon after applying this product should we expect to find no live fleas on our dogs? If we are still finding live fleas, how soon is it safe and advisable to apply a second treatment?

The Frontline Plus Flea & Tick Treatment for Dogs will begin working within 12 hours against adult fleas and 48 hours against lice upon application. It's advised to use one treatment per month and not to use it multiple times within 30 days.

It's a good product against ticks but it is not 100 % protection

Don't expect miracles if you have heavy infestation in your area. It is effective if used as directed. I suggest not bathing your dog for a week after application

Don't expect miracles if you have heavy infestation in your area. It is effective if used as directed. I suggest not bathing your dog for a week after application. Make sure to bathe him and dry his fur before applying for best results. This product is effective for mild to moderate infestation, but if your environment is heavily infested, this alone won't do the trick. So before you give negatie feedbacks please evaluate the situation first. I am currently using Virbac anti tick collar. We have more problems of ticks than fleas in our area, and the collar seems to protect better. For my other dogs not exposed to Tock infested environments, I use Frontline.

The female spends much more time outside and I rarely notice any on her. They are the same breed, mother and son, and I just really can't understand it. I've dusted the yard, as well as sprayed and bathed him with natural products and they clear up, until his next time outside when he comes back in with at least 5 or possibly 10 or more fleas on him. I guess dusting the yard just isn't going to work with daily rain. He must be to fleas like I am to mosquitos, if there's one in a mile it's gonna bite me!!

The chewing license prevention is great too, bed bugs do not like the active ingredient fipronil and (S)-methoprene!!! So if your fur baby sleeps with you, you are kinda protected too!
