Learn More About Frontline Plus From Our Team of Experts

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 90 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Fast-Acting, Long-Lasting Protection

Frontline Plus is formulated with two active ingredients that kill fleas and ticks and prevent new flea infestations from developing. It’s waterproof 24 hours after application, lasts for a full 30 days, and comes in formulas for cats or dogs.

Easy One-Spot Topical Application

Frontline Plus is a spot-on solution that’s available without a prescription. 1 dose = 30 days of protection.

Protects Your Pet

  • Starts killing fleas and ticks fast and protects against reinfestation.
  • Waterproof for a full 30 days starting 24 hours after application.
  • Monthly dosing keeps your dog protected for every season.

How to Apply

Follow these simple steps for application:

  1. Hold upright with foil side toward you and snap applicator tip.
  2. Part hair and apply on shoulder blades, completely emptying the pipette.
  3. Leave the solution to spread through your pet's coat.

About Frontline Plus

To ensure your dog stays protected from fleas and ticks all year round, treat them monthly with Frontline Plus. This simple, easy, one-spot topical solution helps keep your pet free from infestations, providing you with peace of mind.

NO GOOD! Still covered in fleas after double dose in less than one month

Both my cat and dog are miserable after applying second dose in less than one month's time. I've been vacuuming changing bedding and cleaning constantly to help eliminate these fleas and they're just getting worse. They're still crawling as I collect them on packing tape from my bed. They are strong enough to jump off the tape I collect them on but this is of the ones I caught jumping my dog laying in my bed yesterday and today. I gave them dose 1 on 4/20 & dose 2 on 5/4. 1st bath was on 4/16 2nd bath on 4/28, 3rd bath on 5/11! Zero baths for Kuor so you can't blame it on it washing off. BTW these pics are of the last 2days of me collecting the fleas using packing tape so I can show that its not an exaggeration! Also, this is what is on MY bed! I have more but I feel like this gets my point across. Try at your own risk. My pets are indoor pets so it shouldn't have even gotten this bad. I feel like fleas have evolved and they are immune to frontline.

We visited family and brought our little ones with us. Unfortunately family dogs had fleas and needed a fast way to get rid of them. This stuff worked great until we noticed our little guy was getting uncomfortable. We had to shave the area to see that he had a chemical burns from the medication. Just be careful.

Works! Pests and disease will kill your dog before this does.

I have hesitated to use these highly toxic products on my dog for the same reason I try to avoid such things on myself, but I've ashed every veterinarian I've worked

I have hesitated to use these highly toxic products on my dog for the same reason I try to avoid such things on myself, but I've ashed every veterinarian I've worked with including including some very holistic ones and they have all agreed. But it's better to treat the dog and avoid pests into chance. Having them not only made miserable but possibly killed by pests and diseases in the same way that dogs cannot sweat through their skin, which is why they overheat easily. They don't absorb toxic chemicals in the same way that we do through our porous skin. I have decided it is better to keep the pests at Bay than to risk having her not only infected and made miserable but potentially even worse. Please and ticks carry diseases that can you make your dog very sick and even kill it. Use these topicals!

I am reluctant to use any chemical on my furbabies. However, after experiencing Lyme myself (cured at this point), I did not want my pup to go through it. Because we live in a wooded area, it's hard to avoid ticks. I have always adopted rescue dogs and feel that it's my responsibility to make their transition to our home as smooth as possible. I felt very bad after I made the mistake of using a different topical recommended by my vet who said that Frontline may not be as effective as it once was. That topical made my dog itch so much he was biting at himself frantically. I went back to Frontline which had worked for my last adoptee and have had great results. We are still finding ticks on her but they are not embedded and are easy to remove. May is the height of tick season for us here in Maine. I am reassured that Gracie is proteced against Lyme caused by ticks.

I applied the first dose two weeks ago, and the fleas came back with a vengeance. I usually use Bravecto, which works much better, but I switched to Frontline because my dog has liver issues and IBD, and I didn’t want to take any risks. Unfortunately, this product just doesn’t work. I’ve had to use flea shampoo and flea spray in the meantime which he hates lol until I can get Bravecto again hoping it works and doesn’t upset his stomach, because at least that actually gets the job done. It’s frustrating that I have to wait another two weeks to reapply this one. To be honest, very disappointed.

Frontline Plus has proven to be an effective flea and tick product from my small yorkie mix dog for years. No Bugs or side effects, very easy to apply and dries on the nape of the neck quickly. Just avoid the area for a day, then give your dog a bath or brush out the neck fur. Chewy was cheaper then other companies by 5 dollars and it was at my door somehow the next day with standard shipping! As I drove down the street I saw other Chewy boxes on several neighbors porches too! Great product and great service.

I’ve been using this product for years on our two little dogs, and they’ve never had a bad reaction to it. We’re on autoship, it saves us money as well as making sure the medication is available when I need it. Chewy’s is a great company from their customer reps to their on time delivery. We recently lost Emma, but our Gracie will continue with this medication.

Fast delivery times stood out a lot. What I was most impressed about was that they refunded me for a new six pack, a six pack of flea meds after my little girl died. Thank you. and tick meds after my fur baby died. The refund was initiated without returning the meds. I will donate to the local Humane Society. Thank you so much.

Ive only used 1 dose so far and it didn't seem to get rid of the fleas. Ive researched if I can give a 2nd dose a wk early from due date. Im desperately trying to rid my babies of these fleas but it said not to give early so I have another wk to wait in the mean time I am giving water bathes everyday day since I read not to keep giving flea baths. So far ive done 2 flea baths and 2 Dawn dish soap baths. I very treated my yard twice with a total of 6 bags of stuff and i just don't know what else to do.. i use to buy Confortis but I'm not making the money I was hoping my new job will help with that if my 2nd dose on the helps I will change my rating.
