I think I got a bad batch of this. My boy is very picky so I usually test one serving by purchasing elsewhere before buying a full box here. He loved the one serving I got so I bought a box of them. Opened one up and mucous consistency blobs was floating in it and white grease like stuff floated to the sides of the bowl. Opened another pack and it was the same way. He smelled it, wouldn’t even try it, and walked off. I don’t blame him. It smelled fine but didn’t look right. I’ve included a photo of it. Don’t think we will be buying this again.

Sometime in the past couple months, Friskies has changed the formula on all of their gravies. The packaging says it's just a new look, but it's obvious from the STRONG smell that something has changed. I have a cat with kidney issues, so I'm always trying to get more moisture into his diet; both of my cats used to love these but they won't go near the new formulations. My one cat usually eats everything too (including things that aren't edible) so it deeply concerns me that he wants nothing to do with this; I worry about whether it's even safe for them to eat now or if they know something I don't. Trusting my cats and my nose, I've removed this from my autoship and switched over to Delectables.

One of the cats threw up violently after eating and now they smell it and walk away. Just spent $80 on many packs and several flavors. This sadly this problem has applied to several flavors. Surprisingly we had a few of the old package/recipe ones from our previous order and they ate it no problem. Very disappointed in the change and sadly have to find an alternative. Fur baby parents beware.

Since the new packaging, which I like actually, the recipe changed too, and for the worse. My cat used to lap these up but now he won’t drink it. Also, it used to have a thinner consistency; now it’s thicker and within a short time coagulates, which is very gross. I’m sad because my cat doesn’t drink a lot of water so he needs something like this. I guess I’ll have to find something else.
