Cats love extra gravy pate Cat Food

My cats, all 20+ of them, love the extra gravy pate cat food, chicken, turkey & salmon. However, we often experience unsealed or open cans due to poor packaging

My cats, all 20+ of them, love the extra gravy pate cat food, chicken, turkey & salmon. However, we often experience unsealed or open cans due to poor packaging. About a year ago they removed the protective cardboard that snuggly fit on top. Hoping they return to better packaging as we like Chewy and the convenience of auto ship. Ordering it sgain today with fingers crossed.

Old geriatric girl loves it.

We have 10 rescued cats, most over 10 yrs old now. Our oldest is 18 and getting very thin and frail. She is so picky now that it is hard to know what she will eat from one meal to the next. I try to feed her soft pate or what they call smooth canned foods. I also feed her Gerber Turkey and Gravy baby food, mixed with baby rice cereal. I thin it down with water, as I do all the soft foods she will eat. She at times still wants her 11yr plus dry food, that are tiny pieces, but much of the time she licks them instead of actually making any progress eating. She seems to really like this Turkey and Giblets with extra gravy. It still isn't as smooth as I would like, because she licks and leaves the crumbles in the bowl, but I just add a little water and blend it with a spoon until like a thick gravy. I have at times spoon fed her or let her lick from my finger, dipping and re-dipping until she has finished whatever she is trying to eat. Sometimes she seems nauseated or something and runs off like I'm trying to poison her with food. Funny and frustrating, but I think she is getting a little dementia. But back to the food with more gravy, anything she will actually want to eat, I will give her. So far so good with this! PS Eight of the other 9 cats like it also. One can't eat it because he has food allergies.

Cats aren't excited anymore

For some reason my cats don't like this as much as turkey shreads with cheese. Wish just the gravy was sold in cans or pouches, they lick it up. Not sure what happened

For some reason my cats don't like this as much as turkey shreads with cheese. Wish just the gravy was sold in cans or pouches, they lick it up. Not sure what happened last few months my cats aren't happy with wet cat food of this brand anymore. They don't like fancy feast either. Glad Chewey offers Fussy Cat, it's a little pricey, but at least I know my kitties will eat something, even if q little less

Friskies changed recipe

I thought I may have written a review already, but believe I merely spoke of my concerns to a Chewy's rep. I have been feeding my new cat the turkey with extra gravy

I thought I may have written a review already, but believe I merely spoke of my concerns to a Chewy's rep. I have been feeding my new cat the turkey with extra gravy since he was a kitten .. a year and a half now. Suddenly, Friskies has changed the recipe. Instead of gravy it has a watery broth which the cat is not fond of ... wouldn't eat it because it was watery and obviously didn't taste the same as the one he was used to getting before. I have to pour off a good ounce plus of liquid before stirring it up. He'll eat it, but it is obvious he knows the difference. I honestly believe there is not the same quantity of food in the can as before because one can will not last as long as the older recipe .. you can even see the can is NOT as full and probably doesn't weigh the 5.5 oz. I would sure like to have the original that we've been getting for the last year and a half and I know my cay would love it. Too sad Friskies made the change, for whatever reasons, and spoiled a good thing!!

Bought this for senior Mr. Juice (7) and he likes it very much. Digs right in. Nicely masks the powdered Cosequin he gets every day too. Bonus is that when senior Mr. Oscar (9) resists his prescription food for urinary issues, we can add a bit of gravy from the Friskies Gravy with turkey and this seems to make him immediately more enthusiastic about eating.

My cats love the extra gravy pate with turkey but we would love it in smaller cans also we would like turkey, beef and chicken to be in a package together. Some of my cats are allergic to fish especially salmon so I don’t get combinations that have salmon in them. My cats LOVE gravy as much as they can get with a little cat food. Of course they also eat dried food for crunchiest Thanks your gravy pate has made our day!

Chewy's delivery and service were top-notch, as usual. However, I was a bit disappointed with the product. When I ordered this item, I was expecting a nice thick gravy, like you get with the Friskies Shreds items. Instead, the "gravy" was thin and watery, more like a broth than a gravy. I won't order this item again, but will order the regular pate offering instead. None of the Pate in Extra Gravy flavors are what I hoped for. The broth is fine, if that's what you want, it just isn't a thick gravy that you'd expect when it's labeled "gravy". This isn't a problem with Chewy.com at all --- it's manufacturer's "misnomer".

I've fed my 3 insude only and a half dozen strays this for YEARS. Everything with expiration date January 2025 that I've recently gotten has something wring with it or different ingredients. Chewy has replaced my cases, but I keep geeting the exact same food with same lot number and expiration date. I will NEVER buy another Friskies product. All together, I'm out $100 because even though it's been replaced with the exact same thing, I don't have any actual wet food to feed all of these cats!
