We adopted a house rabbit from a local rescue, and we were unsure how our three dogs and three cats would do with the rabbit. We got the playpen to put the rabbit in while introducing her to our dogs. The metal is well made, and the playpen is sturdy. It is high enough that the rabbit cannot jump out, and my cats and dogs can’t jump in. We are happy to report our dogs and cats did great with our new rabbit, and Molly, our rabbit, is now running around the house freely with our cats and dogs. We now use it when we leave the house just to be safe.

I use these for ferrets. I have four of these that I got 50% off here on Chewy, which I link up into two large separate pens. The panels are not individually detachable without breaking the metal clips that hold them together., but you can link them end to end with another set. They are a bit heavy, but that is because the bars are pretty thick and do not bend. The metal seems good. I have had it tip over while dragging it and despite it leaning half it's weight on its hinges, it did not break or bend. It is very sturdy when it is set up on a curve or zig-zag, and despite my ferrets launching themselves at it it does not move. I did find that my ferrets could use the extra horizontal bars on the panels to climb out, and in one case, she slipped while attempting to do this and got her foot caught. Luckily, I was nearby to free her (which was easy, it was only her panic stopping her from doing it herself). This issue has been completely remedied by slipping a piece of soda pop 12-pack box cardboard into the ramp panel, blocking off those horizontal bars. My ferrets love being out to play. If you can't free roam, these are awesome!! I can't wait to link up all 4 into one mega pen outside in nice weather.

The door is also so very convenient to use. The wire is heavy gauge so it's very sturdy and not flimsy at all. Nice for those tiny little fur babies.

#ReceivedFreeProduct The Frisco Wire Small Pet Playpen with door (29in) is great for baby chicks or any small animal that is growing. My hen hatched three chicks and then wanted nothing to do with them. We brought them in and placed them in the playpen with a feeder and water bottle for chicks. It gives the kids and us a chance to see them all running around and chirping and being cute inside the playpen and it’s allowed us to be able to watch the grow. They are now big enough to jump/flutter their wings enough to be able to stand on the feeder and waterer. In our previous enclosure made specifically for chicks, other broods have been able to jump completely out of it at this point. With the Frisco playpen, we are not having that problem, as it is high enough to keep them in. I can change their water and food by bending over the top and I can use the door to get the chicks. It’s very efficient and I will use it for years to come.

I got this playpen for when we wanted to take our bunnies outside. It’s very sturdy and easy to set up. I like that it has a door that’s easy to open. It’s tall enough that the bunnies can’t easily jump over it. It’s somewhat heavy to carry around, but that’s not a big deal if you’re not planning to move it around a lot. I always have a bit of a hard time getting the 3 latches in place. Again, not a big deal, especially if you’re going to set it up and leave it, but it’s easier with another person.
