Has lasted 2 years

When I originally bought this toy early in 2024, my husband was concerned that such a flimsy-looking set of toys wouldn’t last a day with our 2-year-old pitbull

When I originally bought this toy early in 2024, my husband was concerned that such a flimsy-looking set of toys wouldn’t last a day with our 2-year-old pitbull. While she did chomp up 1 dino on day 1 and she either lost or destroyed a few more dinos along the way, it has been 2 years!! 2 years with this soft toy and she still has the volcano and 2 dinos, and still adores all the elements of her toy. The dinos also still squeak pretty good and she has not lost any delight in them, despite them being so tiny. To everyone who is concerned about whether your dog will “be able to” destroy this toy: if it’s soft, squeaks, is stuffed, etc. the answer is 99 percent of the time, yes, they CAN destroy it. But sometimes they grow out of the phase of destroying every single toy they get and sometimes, they love a toy enough they’ll spare that one. Maybe the toy will get destroyed immediately, maybe it’ll take longer, but isn’t it worth spending a little money for their joy? I’d buy this toy ten times to see how happy her little dinos make her. 10/10 recommend!

Our house is completely overrun with dinosaurs. There’s one stationed at every important post: one by the bed, one in the bathroom, one on the couch, one in the kitchen. They’re everywhere. No matter how many times we tuck them back into the volcano, Wallace has the best time retrieving all his little dino friends. I’ll even toss a couple of his favorite treats in there sometimes, which turns it into the ultimate excavation mission. The dinos are surprisingly durable! perfect for being flung across the room, chomped on, and carried from place to place. They’re just the right size for Wallace to proudly parade around the house. Easily his favorite toy, and honestly, one of mine too.

Daisy is the most exalted of doggies. A Great Pyrenees with extreme dignity and very sophisticated tastes until you give her the hide and seek trash can and raccoons toy. Bought Volcanos and dinosaurs hide and seek to change things up. She was into it. Right by my side as I unwrapped it and cut the plastic tag fasteners. She played relentlessly with the dinos for half an hour then went back to her beloved raccoons. I don’t think it’s the dinosaurs fault, they are just extinct to her.

This toy is amazing! Something different and fun for my 9-yo lab. She loves squeak toys, this suits that need and more! Instead of leaving this out for her all the time I keep it “special” and bring it out for her only occasionally. She will spend half hour playing before she begins to chew them up, at which point it’s time for the toy to be put away again. Worth the purchase!!

A favorite around here

We have an almost 2 year old Staffordshire bull terrier. She is obsessed with little toys she can carry around with her and try to destroy lol. She’s always stealing the cat toys. Usually any small, stuffed dog toys that I’ve found, she will destroy in 5 minutes. I saw these type of toys & didn’t want to spend a lot incase she wouldn’t like it. I got her this one & she is OBSESSED. It’s a Sunday afternoon & I can tell she’s bored so I go around the house finding her dinosaurs & pack them into this volcano. The whole time she’s following me around watching me lol. Put it into the floor & she immediately goes at it. She LOVES it. & not to mention, she is an aggressive chewer. Most toys don’t last around here. All of these pieces have held up amazingly. Could not recommend more! We love this!

I first bought this in 2019. My dog loved the tiny dinos. Still loves the tiny dinos. When we got her a brother in 2021, he loved the whole thing.... too much. He had so much fun digging out the dinos, flipping the volcano into the air, wearing it on his face, & using it as a chew toy. So much fun that I couldn't bring myself to stop him. The volcano is still mostly intact, but the holes have been enlarged a bit too much now, so I eventually ordered a second one that could properly be played with again. Volcano #2 is still alive & well, as are all 12 dinosaurs. Senior doge still loves the tiny dinos, as does my toddler. Will definitely buy again if necessary!!

I have a destroyer. He views the term indestructible as a challenge. But he LOVES plushies. He destroys everything soft within seconds but adores soft things and I always feel bad because it's clear he has a preference for his chew toys but they haven't made a soft Kevlar yet. With this background I'm continuously shocked when he finds one of these guys and brings it to me in his giant maw begging for me to throw it or give chase. It's been 4 months. This is with a beast that looked at the Kong toys and had started eating them within ten minutes. He took that mini tire and had it shredded in about 5 minutes. SO the fact they lasted so long is majorly impressive. I'm buying this AGAIN it did so well and they're amazingly cheap. He's adorable with the ridiculous thing in his mouth, and I imagine that's the probably the magic behind this toy, his 90lb butt can't get a good enough grip to rip it apart but he also can't swallow it because it's too large for that. It's like a puppy pacifier. Hilarious

A volcanic eruption of fun! (eyeroll - lol)

So I ordered this silly thing with low hopes, but figured with the gazillion 5-star reviews, at least my fuzzkids could play with the squeaky dinos... WELL, WAS

So I ordered this silly thing with low hopes, but figured with the gazillion 5-star reviews, at least my fuzzkids could play with the squeaky dinos... WELL, WAS I EVER WRONG! My 11-YO GSP with zero former interest in stuffies immediately stole a dino and began guarding it with her life as the 3-mo old lab mix pup went to town searching for dinos and loving hugging on the squishy volcano itself! It was so fun to play Dinosaurs WITH her, replacing the little guys back into the volcano as she fished them out; and keeping the game going! The puppy caught on right away - I was AMAZED and thrilled! Needless to say, I’m so glad that I bought replacement stuffies (yeah - so what if they’re the chickens and drumsticks refills - it’ll be a “magic volcano” then!) for when the dinos bite the dust. Another 5-star/dinosaur review here!

Great toy for my chewer!

I took a risk getting this toy because my 60 pound dog can destroy anything he gets his mouth on. He is incredibly smart though, and even I was bored just looking

I took a risk getting this toy because my 60 pound dog can destroy anything he gets his mouth on. He is incredibly smart though, and even I was bored just looking at all his “indestructible” rubber toys. I got this toy hoping it would keep his brain busy and prevent him from simply shredding the toy, and it worked!! He has had this soft toy for a week now with no casualties! I closely monitor him when he plays with this toy, making sure to stop him from gnawing on it, but he LOVES it. He runs around with the dinos in his mouth and tosses the volcano around. 5 of the 6 of the squeakers have stopped working and many of the dinos have puncture wounds, but they are all intact with no stuffing coming out, which a win in my book. I will be purchasing more of these even if they only end up lasting 2 weeks, it’s better than the hour most soft toys last!

I have a 60lb dog wasnt sure how long this would last with how hard she plays but for the price it was worth a shot. You get 6 dinos in total so i gave 3 to the dog and set the others aside. At first shoney was excited for the whole thing but very quickly she became more excited with the puzzle toy and went right to taking the dinos out. She wasnt intent on destroying but rather enjoyed having the mental stimulation since other toys she will sit and chew till they are gone (bored dog much). Small or large dogs definitley try this toy! Im happy it came with refills and when i do need to purchase more they are inexpensive.($5) Shes been playing for 30min and not even the stuffing is out of the dinosaurs so this was a great investment for me! Win and win!
