Frisco Velvet Quilted Bolster Cat & Dog Bed, Beige, Small

My cat usually ignores new beds for several months, but he starting sleeping on this one after one day. He’s a 14 pound senior cat. The bed has room to spare, but I think the bolsters make it feel safe and cosy. I put it up on a high shelf, and he spends at least 8 hours a day hiding in comfort up there.

Super soft and my dog loves the raised edges to rest his head on. One star off for the sizing. The sizing is very bizarre. I have a 43 lb dog and ordered a medium first which was insanely small then I ordered a size up which was way bigger but I kept it since the return process with Chewy was excellent and my dog likes to stretch out anyway.

We have 4 Pomeranians ( they tend to have joint issues)! Although medium sized dogs I bought large beds to accommodate their blankets and toys. This bed has high sides and has a bit of an over filled center. ( someone complained about that in a review). I purchased it exactly for that reason because Little Bear our rescued Pomeranian has bad hips because his previous owner kept him and his sister in a dog crate meant for one small dog 22 hours a day because she was afraid of falling over them!! 3 years later her sister removed them from her home to a rescue. He needs a soft bed so hes not on the hard floor. Little Bears on glucosamine and can now walk but still gets stiff. He LOVES this bed so much I bought one for each of my dogs!!! His sister Baby Cakes is just adorable she loves her bed with a big fluffy sherpa blanket but it has to be burgundy colored for them both since they have security issues and duck on the blankets!! AWESOME BED BEAUTIFUL COLOR!!

This bed is great! It's soft, and my dog really loves the bolster to lay his head like a pillow. We have the XL (largest) size. I am writing this as I just logged on and ordered a second one in the same gray color. It's kind of a gray/blue but it is nice! This is a GREAT deal for the price and now that we have 3 dogs, we are getting these to try and keep the dogs off the couch. Imo, the XL bed is NOT huge and I almost wish it was a few inches bigger all around, but at the same time it fits well in our house and we can have more of them so I love it nonetheless. My dog is 92 lbs and takes up all the space in it, he doesn't have a whole lot of room to stretch out on it. He always keeps his head on the bolster or even hanging off so it works for him. We have other beds for the dogs that are their "nighttime" beds and much bigger than this to sprawl out. These kinds of beds I researched for a while, and paid $300+ for. All 3 dogs have been wanting to lay on this Frisco bed during the day when it's in the living room, since we just trashed our couch and are waiting for a new one. We may be ordering even more. Shipping took longer than expected (1-1.5 weeks) but it's okay. I highly recommend this bed, it is an awesome value for the price and looks good in the house!
