Frisco Ultimate Outdoor Heavy Duty Steel Metal Playpen, 1 count

I really searched for the perfect pen, criteria was: overkill heavy duty for my 8 month corgi pup, safe, easy to assemble, disassemble & reassemble, secure latches, no gate bar to crouch under ( easy entry), flexible shapes, & I could fit my hand thru the bars so I can pet her while watching t.v. This pen hit all the marks. I bought a length of sheet vinyl to put over my carpet, and a square of plexiglass between the pen and electrical outlet. Only complaint is Fedx had this hung up at local distribution for 5 days, which I understood due to Covid manpower shortages, but alot of people complained on the community FB page that their pets needed meds were delayed. That gives me pause about ordering from Chewy, when fast & convenient is supposed to be why you'd order from them, & they're now losing customers due to the Fedx relationship & should offer other shipping choices. Nothing to do with this pen other than the delay was frustrating. It's an awesome kennel though and we do love it.

We started fostering puppies a year ago and had to try/buy three other puppy pen styles and brands before we found this one. This was more expensive but I was sick of the pen tipping over or the puppies being able to climb out. We bought one 6 panel set and it was amazing! Seriously this pen is so sturdy and tall enough that puppies can’t find their way up and out. The latches are secure and it can be configured in so many ways. We bought three more to set up an outside area for the puppies too. The best part of these outside is they stick into the grass and don’t move! We had them out all winter long (in Minnesota) and no rust or wear on them at all. I’m probably going to buy more this summer to set up a dog run in another section of our backyard. I highly recommend this puppy/dog pen!

I have had this pen since early 2023 when I got my dog Torvi. She was 10 weeks old, and needed a place to put her when I wasn’t home so she wouldn’t chew or use the bathroom all over the house. Well, she’s a Carolina Dog, and she didn’t let the pen keep her contained. She climbed out the first time. No fault of the pen, some dogs just can’t be contained! It got new life when I took it camping. I ended up buying another set so when I camped my 2 dogs could play without getting the tie outs tangled up. I have a 10x10 screen house which I ended up putting it inside of. (Puppy would slip right under it) This stopped Torvi from going under the sides, and the screens have kept her from climbing out. So now I can sit inside with the dogs and let them play and run around without being tied up. I have torn these down and put them back together, and traveled with them for 3 years. The only thing that has happened was one or two of the pins that hold them together got bent a little when I tried to push them into hard ground. Or maybe I hit a rock or root, I don’t remember. Even slightly bent, they still work fine. I have now bought a 3rd set for my yard so I can plant a small garden and keep the dogs out of it. (They like to dig.). These are a great quality for the price, and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t say how fast they would rust if outside all the time. I did have a couple pieces zip tied to my chain link fence for about 6 months when I had a spit the dogs were able to push thru and get under. You can’t even tell which panels I had used. They didn’t rust in that time. I don’t think I have photos of the product set up except with my animals in them.

I use this exercise pen for rabbits. It is tall enough that it is unlikely a rabbit would be able to jump over the top. I really like the sturdy design and especially the gate locks minimizing any chance of pushing the pen over or the gate open from the inside. It holds up very well to weather as it's outside 24/7. I also love that you can connect multiple pens together to make an extra big space. Highly recommend this product for rabbits!
