bought a 20 and a 30 ft. tie out for different places in front yard for my dog to hang out safely while we garden instead of leaving her inside. the tie out is much more flexible than an old steel cable one we had, so it's more comfortable for her to move around and it lies very flat on ground so it's not a tripping hazard for me! surprisingly the lime green color shows up very easily in the grass too, so I won't run mower over it !!!!

I only use tie out cables occasionally, so my dogs and roam outside with me without concern of them running into the street (no fence). I store the tie out indoors so the elements don't destroy it. It's been holding up very well with no signs of rust or damage. This morning, I had my 35 lb dog on the tie out and she went for a squirrel. The tie out snapped along the cable! How does a 35 lb dog break a 50 lb cable? I'm pretty disappointed. It's a good thing my dogs knows recall, or I would have been chasing her who knows how long. Since the weight ratings can't be trusted, I'll need to buy a bulkier one to replace it.

No doubt he'd really prefer to run around loose, but for those tomes when an overly-enthusiastic, young, 100 lb doggo needs to be contained so he doesn't terrify the whole campground with his exuberance and penchant for expressing himself in a serious of grumbles and growling noises which sound scary and threatening if you don't know that he is, in fact, just a big ol' puppy that likes to chitter-chatter a lot.

The plastic coating has broken away from the steel cable and in no time, it will rust and break in half. I am very disappointed with this product!!

Hey all, so I live in an apartment with no fenced in yard. I purchased 2 of these for my 61 pound husky pitbull and my 35 pound pitbull. I wasn’t concerned about the little one because she doesn’t pull at all but my husky pit does, so I made sure to watch very closely when I initially attached the rope to his harness. The description says to not attach to a harness but he’ll get right out of his collar so I did it anyway with caution. I will say on the first attempt he ripped the stake right out of the ground and got loose but I believe I put it in a bad spot that didn’t have that thick soil. Second attempt was perfect. They both played in the yard for 5 hours without it coming loose once (after the first mishap.) The cables do twist a little because I have 2 close to each other but it’s not a big deal to untangle them every hour or so. Very happy with this product! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking. They’re going to have a great summer outside, I’m so excited for them!

I had another brand of tie out that needed to be replaced after having it for a couple of years with no problem. I try this one and it's done nothing but ravel up

I don't know why, but I tried to straighten it out and it just stays clumped up in one area. Not happy with it at all. It's much easier to trip on as well.

I have had this less than a month. Used to be outside for a 50lb dog. Dog has not been chewing on it did not show any signs of distress or any signs of being worn

I have had this less than a month. Used to be outside for a 50lb dog. Dog has not been chewing on it did not show any signs of distress or any signs of being worn down. But in less than four months it snapped. Dog was running free with part of it connected to the dog collar. If you don't want your dog running free I would not recommend this.
