Our cats Koko and Miso go tearing through the house swatting around their toys as if they’re playing soccer, so it’s only fitting that we got them a FRISCO SPORTS SOCCER SOUND ELECTRONIC PLUSH CAT TOY WITH SILVERVINE & CATNIP. This soft, chirping ball is entertaining for the cats and for us humans. When the ball is touched, it chirps, but when the ball comes to a stop, so does the chirping. I like that. Even if the ball wasn’t stuffed with silvervine and catnip, I think the cats would still play with it. I’m guessing that the battery will last a long time, but again, even without the chirping, I’m sure the fun will continue. Miso plays fetch like a dog; the small size and texture of the ball is great for that. Whenever I see the ball in the middle of the floor, I can’t resist kicking it, making it chirp—and then hearing the cats come running to play some more!

The Frisco soccer ball is just the right size for cats to carry around in their mouths yet still big enough to be a decent size ball to play with. It's plush and soft. The ball emits whistle sounds as the ball is moved about. I found it to be rather irritating. The catnip/silvervine inside the toy seems to be fresh. Given that this ball has a non-rechargeable, non-removable battery installed, the sound feature has a limited lifespan. Just how long it will last, I do not know. My cat isn't aggressive with tearing up toys and the battery is positioned in the center of the ball so I'm not all that concerned, but if your cat is more aggressive and likes to tear up toys, you might consider picking a different toy.

My 3 cats are seniors, ages 12 through 19 and all of them get bored quite easily with most toys but are really enjoying playing with the chirping ball. The oldest likes to sit next to it, batting it slightly every once in a while to make it chirp and my youngest is giving it a good whack to make it roll around the room so he can chase it. If these older guys are enjoying it, I would assume that younger cats would really have a good time with it. I give this toy a thumbs up and 5 stars.

My cat really likes this little soccer ball. It is smaller than I thought it would be so it fits his size perfectly. It has a little whistle sound that I thought might be annoying, but it really is not. And I am a very quiet person. He will seek the ball out and hit it so it makes noise and then he’ll chase it around for a little bit. He really does enjoy this toy. He played with it a lot the first few days and now he does not engage with it as much, but he still likes it.

Not a big hit

My three cats liked the sports soccer ball as long as I was throwing it around for them. It hardly made any sound. In about 20 minutes I only heard it make 5 squeaks

My three cats liked the sports soccer ball as long as I was throwing it around for them. It hardly made any sound. In about 20 minutes I only heard it make 5 squeaks. Not sure if this is how it's supposed to be or not. They don't play with it unless I throw it around, but they lose interest in it pretty quickly.
