The turtle is very cute with a smiling face. My dog was very excited to get it. He has some toys he proudly parades around and some he quickly destroys. Within the first few minutes he ripped a hole in the turtle’s head. But then he decided it was a keeper. For the past week he has been happily carrying it around inside and outside. I like the size and shape and adorableness of it. It originally had a squeaker in its head and the legs make crinkly sounds. I don’t think it’s good for those who like to rip up their toys, but it’s great for dogs who are less destructive.

Fun toy for my cattle dog mix who loves to play tug and jump to catch plush toys (perfect size for tossing). He is middle aged and out of his heavier chewing phases of life so it'll hold up just fine, but it probably easily torn up for dogs who de-stuff their toys. My kiddo is also obsessed with sea turtles so he was very excited to get it to play with the dog.

This is one of the cutest toys my dogs have had! That being said, they tore into the turtles head within two minutes. They are, however, 75lbs and destroy just about everything we give them so I kind of expected it but I do wish it was made a bit better. The body seems firmer than the extremities. My heart is broken for the poor things haha.

I'm not sure I would give it to a dog that was a hard chewer of toys, but even for that type of dog, this toy might last longer than many out on the market these days. I like that it's got both the crinkle sounds in the flippers and a squeaker in the turtle's head. My beagle and I had a great time playing with this toy when it arrived. He has been known to snub toys he immediately doesn't like, so I'm hopeful this will become one of his frequent go-tos to bring to me to play with him.
