Silvervine mousies for the win!!

My cats have always enjoyed catnip, but other than some of the more expensive brands, it doesn’t seem to affect them as much as it used to when they were younger

My cats have always enjoyed catnip, but other than some of the more expensive brands, it doesn’t seem to affect them as much as it used to when they were younger. Silvervine is a whole different matter. I called them over and either handed or tossed the mice to them. There was no hesitation. They grabbed them in midair, batted them around the room, rubbed their heads on them and tried to filch them from each other. The look in their eyes made it quite obvious that the Silvervine was getting to them. When they finally wore themselves out, a couple of them slept with the mouse they had been playing with. They really seem to love these toys. Besides being incredibly cute, they are very sturdy. The stitching is strong and tight and the ears and tail are attached securely. I’m going to purchase a container of loose Silvervine, so that as the scent wears off over time, I can rub some on them and get them smelling strongly again. From past experience, I suspect it will take quite a while before it wears off to the point that they don’t seem to notice. For now, they’re having a great time with them and I’m having just as much fun watching them play.

the Frisco Coastal Plush Mice for my cats, and they ended up being a bigger hit than I expected. These are small, lightweight, and have a soft, slightly puffy feel that makes them easy for cats to carry around, toss, and “hunt.” One thing I actually appreciate is that there’s no bell or crinkle noise inside. If you’re like me and don’t want toys making noise all night, these are perfect. My cats still stayed fully engaged without any added sound—they bat them across the floor, carry them in their mouths, and even stash them in their favorite hiding spots. The size works especially well for cats who like to kick or chase smaller toys. They’re gentle on paws and don’t have any hard parts, which makes me feel better about letting them play unsupervised. So far, they’ve held up well to regular play, though like most plush toys, heavy chewers may wear them down faster over time. Overall, these are a great simple toy option—no frills, just soft, safe, and fun. Perfect for cats who enjoy quiet play and classic “mouse chase” action.

This 4-pack of little stuffed mice are perfect for my 4 little foster kittens! They are each a great size that makes them fun to play with. They can be swatted around, carried in the mouth or thrown into the air. They are soft & colorful, with long tails that appear to be securely attached. I'm certain my adult cats would love them, too, since they have always been fond of playing with similar sized mice. These seem to be well made & should hold up very well. While they are supposed to be scented with catnip, I was unable to smell any, but the kittens don't seem to mind. They definitely have been playing with them since I am always finding them in different locations. Unfortunately, when I was trying to take pictures of them playing, they were more interested in the camera-lol!

We ere excited to try these mice because our cats really enjoy Silvervine and they have a couple of older catnip mice they carry around. They were both curious

We ere excited to try these mice because our cats really enjoy Silvervine and they have a couple of older catnip mice they carry around. They were both curious when the box was opened and had to check out the bag of mice even before it was opened. They checked out each mouse and one of them decided the tail was more delicious to chew on than the mouse. They enjoyed the mice but we couldn’t let them play unattended as they wanted to just chew the tail off. Perfect size and lightweight to throw easily.

These mice are great! My cats were immediately intrigued by them, and they love swatting them around the house. They are soft but surprisingly sturdy, and no stuffing

These mice are great! My cats were immediately intrigued by them, and they love swatting them around the house. They are soft but surprisingly sturdy, and no stuffing has escaped despite LOTS of rough handling. One of my cats likes to carry them around by the tail and then proceeds to gnaw on the tail, but no mouse has lost its tail. I expected the tails to be lost on the first day of play, but they are holding up very well.

My tabby cats absolutely loved the four Frisco Coastal Plush Mice Cat Toys with Silvervine & Catnip. ! My two youngest (around 12 years old) had so much fun playing with them. Every morning after breakfast, they would carry the mice around the house and then proudly place them on their little beds. It was adorable to watch, and honestly, I couldn’t even get the toys away from them—they were that obsessed!
