Sturdy, well made, cute toys - dog approved!

These coastal critter toys are so cute! I have two dogs (an 11 year old german shepherd/border collie mix and a 2 year old boxer mix) and both dogs enjoyed the toys - the boxer mix LOVES them though! The crab and squid are by far the two most loved ones - I think mostly because the whale is bigger, thicker, and harder to fit in their mouths. I've been watching them carry the squid and crab around the past few days though, it's hilarious! They both squabble over the crab especially. The toys are a good size for medium/large breed dogs, but very determined smaller breeds might enjoy them too. They're actually a lot better quality than I was expecting them to be, based on the initial pictures as well, which was a pleasant surprise! The fabric is pretty thick and sturdy on each of the toys and there are fun squeakers, crinkles, and textured bits on each toy for the dogs to enjoy (plus the design is cute for humans to look at and the colors are bright and pretty!) There is a disclaimer that these are not for heavy duty chewers, and I feel like that is an accurate assessment. Heavy chewers would be able to shred these up fairly easily, but if your dog is less of a chewer/destroyer or if you are able to fully supervise your heavy chewer dog while they play with them and put them up when not in use, they're a great option!

I’ll sratet by saying I have a very “toy particular” Xolo dog. She likes what she likes and ignores the rest. Well, these fell into the like list right away and she wanted to play with them outside. I let her pick and Mr Whale was the winner!! Each toy had either a squeaker or a crinkle sound to make them more fun. The fabric is strong and held up to some tug o war games as well as general toss and fetch. At the end of our play session that had picked up some dirt so I wiped them off with a wet cloth and they were good to go. But for the sake of a true review I also put them through the washer and dryer and they came out as good as new! Definitely a trio of fun worthy of any medium to large dog!

There are three toys as part of this set - a whale, a crab, and a squid. All three of these toys are densely stuffed. All three toys crinkle and squeak. Both of my dogs love crinkle toys, so these were a hit! They enjoy all three toys, but the crab is a clear favorite. While one is playing with the crab, the other is just waiting for an opportunity to snag it! It's not meant to be a tug toy, but it's held up (so far) to some rough tug sessions! It doesn't hurt that these toys are really cute, too. My dogs have only discovered the squeaker in the crab so far. Once they find the others, I'm sure they'll enjoy serenading me with squeaker music 😂.

My dogs usually destroy toys within a few moments but for some reason they would rather carry these toys around and cuddle them. It warms my heart to see my senior dogs playing with the toys. The quality seems really good, the fabric is thick, and doesn’t seem to puncture easily. We have named the toys after SpongeBob characters, since it comes with a squid, crab, and a whale.

These toys are made in bright beautiful colors. They are a great size for medium to large dogs. The characters are adorable and each one has a squeaker and crinkly material inside. I was hoping my dog would love these toys but they were too firm for her. She’s a medium sized dog and loves stuffed animals but these toys had very little give when squeezed and it was difficult to get the squeaker to make noise. Beautiful toys but sadly not a good fit for us.

Cute and Durable, Questionable Appeal

Cool sea creatures but were ignored by our Husky. Gave them to our Terrier who latched on to the stuffed squid and ignored the others. So funny, this little guy takes the squid with him outside to go potty and brings him back in when finished. The toys appear to be rugged with tight, heavily stitched seams and a short nap for easy cleaning.

These are really cute toys with a soft texture and a good size for my large dog and my medium sized dogs When I gave them to them they were very excited, but they have since lost interest in them, quicker than most toys. Its hard to understand what did not appeal to them, but they will occasionally pick them up but mine are known to shred their favorite toys and they have not done that with these, but they also don’t play with them very often. If I had to guess it’s because they don’t have a lot of noise when they bite into it, squeaky or crunchy. There is a squeaker inside, but it’s deeply embedded so very hard to make it work when they bite down. From a human standpoint, they’re adorable and fun to play with, but I think a thumbs down from the dogs.
