I really thought the Frisco Coastal Critters Jingle Ball was about to become the hottest toy in our house. I mean it is plush, jingly and it contains catnip and silvervine? That seems like it would be the trifecta win for a cat. In a multi-cat household, I was expecting chaos to ensue… zoomies, turf wars, at the very least some dramatic bunny kicks. Instead, I got mild curiousity. To be fair, it is a super cute toy and feels well made with safety in mind, which I appreciate as an overprotective cat parent. It passed the sniff test, but only two of my cats (the youngest and most playful, ages three and four) gave it any real attention. This toy didn’t quite hit the mark for my whole crew, but if you have younger and/or more playful cats you may have better luck than I did.

As soon as I received the two cute cat toys my two cats couldn’t wait to play with them. They were delighted to see and play with their new toys. They balls are really cute. The toys jingle which really got my cats’ attention. They even have some catnip in them. Which makes them more tantalizing to my cats. The little balls get a A+ from my cats. After they are finished playing with the toys, in a little while they come back in the room to make sure the toys haven’t disappeared. They really do seem to enjoy them. I do recommend these toys. You can purchase them from Chewy. I get most of my pet items from chewy. They are a trustworthy company.

Playtime that lasts

My cats Wren and Binx loved these toys…. I could hear the jingling sound as they played for hours at a time. Binx doesn’t play much with toys as he has gotten older

My cats Wren and Binx loved these toys…. I could hear the jingling sound as they played for hours at a time. Binx doesn’t play much with toys as he has gotten older but he loves these. The cats batted them back and forth and the catnip attracted them to them even more. The size is good so you can avoid stepping on them and the critter covers made them cute looking… They are playing with them as I am writing this.I would recommend these for anyone who wants to give their cats plenty of fun at playtime.

The fabric on top also makes them less likely to be stepped on by the humans in the house.Two of my three cats were initially excited and obviously attracted by the catnip smell. With the jingle bell inside I can hear when they are playing with them. They haven't yet carried them off to a different room.

My two older cats (15&11) aren’t super impressed by this toy. They’ll bat it occasionally when they have the zoomies but mostly I think it’s a little heavier than they like. However, our kitten (2) is obsessed. He’s a fetcher so he will happily chase them down and carry them back by the fabric parts. I like them because they roll pretty well but aren’t totally out of control bouncing around thanks to the fabric pieces. All in all this is a solid addition to our jingle ball collection and any toy that all three of our cats play with once in a while is a win. Our kitten is definitely a big fan and has been carrying this around since we got it. I like it because these are cute and combine jingle ball toys that my cats love and a plushie for cuteness. It’s adorable and the fact that the toy doesn’t bounce around like crazy keeps the noise down a little.
