Just got my first dog, he's almost 2. I thought he needed a mattress. I was at first shocked how expensive this was but when it arrived I saw how well made it was. I got the blue and such a pretty blue for a boy dog. Now he did have an accident on it, but it was super easy to clean. I just unzipped it and put it in the wash on gentle. The foam pad had a little pee on it and I just sprayed it and let it air dry. Easy to put padding back on. Zipper is well made. I will take my vacuum and vacuum it off while in the dog crate. Highly recommend. He's 50 pound Husky mix and loves his bed

I needed a bed that I could put a XL K&H bed warmer in rather than just wrapped in a blanket on the couch. First I tried a Furhaven "orthopedic" bed (super cheap
I needed a bed that I could put a XL K&H bed warmer in rather than just wrapped in a blanket on the couch. First I tried a Furhaven "orthopedic" bed (super cheap egg crate foam) but not only did my 12-lb cats bottom it out, the points of the egg crate let the heated mat keep sliding around and end up bent onto the side of the bed. Talk about a fire hazard! I'm really glad I found these Frisco beds instead. They're the perfect size for the bed warmers, the cover is thick durable fabric, the foam is heavy good-quality stuff, and my cats love it! I got the blue color because it was a lot cheaper and was happy to find that it's more of a darker blue than the pictures appeared. Works for me, but FYI if you wanted the lighter shade of blue how it looks in the product pictures. They'll be easy to clean, too, since the zipper for the cover goes around two sides, unlike some of my other beds that only open on one end. Highly recommended!

Pros: - It's hard to find foam beds that's aren't egg crate but this one is NOT egg crate. - Has held up well over time (ie, not gone flat). - It's nice that the cover is washable. Cons: - Not quite as thick as I would like. 4" would be better for L/XL sizes but my solution is to I double up and put a Molly Mutt bed on top so my pup has an extra comfy double stack bed. Works great bc she occasionally likes to nest in her bed (and the Molly Mutt duvets are really tough) and then I only wash the cover of this one occasionally. - I did have one where the stitching was loose and came out in the wash (gentle cycle). But I've had a handful of these and only had a problem with one. Caveats: - Unless a bed is specifically designed as "tough" or "dig resistant," your dogs nails will break it down. Faster if they like to dig or nest in their bed. There's always a trade off between softness and toughness. This is a *velvet* bed so it's a soft material and if your dog is a nester or digger, they will break it down.

We've had this bed for a year and a half, along with the larger Frisco orthopedic bed with the bolsters. Both are great quality. This went in my dog's crate to replace the sad pad that came with it. She rests comfortably for super long road trips on it. The cover on this is soft, but good quality. It washes up beautifully if she gets it muddy. It's easy to remove the cover and replace it. No struggling. She loves it so much that on vacations, she ends up wandering back to her travel kennel all on her own for a snooze. Don't think twice about buying. It's a great option for the price. She has severe arthritis so we got another one for the backdoor where she likes to lay.

One of the beds lasted less than a day: came home with a big hole in the center and the egg crate foam stuff scattered all over the floor. In the black trash bed it went. The other one lasted another day or two, with the center hole spreading bigger and bigger and the pile of stuffing becoming messier and messier in my basement floor. In the black trash bad that went too. These are not made for any sort of dog with any sort of nail. Unless your dog is 5 pounds with fake French manicure, please get something else that might last longer than week.

I have not had any of the issues that the negative reviews had made comments about. Tearing, not a thread, and the pittie is a digger. Our older dog has some continence issues, so we have had a few accidents. It was easy to get the cover off and on. The cover was pretty good at keeping accidents from bleeding through to the bedding. Only a few small spots so far. Distress from washing, nope! (Washed on gentle cycle and air dried the cover). Washable, durable, and comfy. They love it! I may have to get another.
Perfect for what we needed

We tried letting her sleep in our bed and never had shown signs of pain so I thought it’d be great to find her a more comfortable orthopedic bed. This bed is perfect for her. I’ve had it for about a month now and she hasn’t been refusing to walk and is actually more willing to jump off of our couch now! She isn’t on any meds or treatment as when I took her to the vet they said she was fine, but maybe it was just sleeping on a non orthopedic bed that made her sore or in pain. The only thing I/she don’t like is that it isn’t a cool fabric and she gets hot easily especially living in Arizona. But it’s an easy fix I could put a silk/satin blanket over it so she has a cool area or a warm area but other than that we love it! I bought the large one for her large 32in crate and it fits snug

Bought this for my 3 year old Bulldog/Puggle mix who has hip dysplasia. I wasn’t sure if she would use it or not but based on the reviews I decided to try it and I’m so glad I did ... she absolutely LOVES it !!! She sleeps so much better at night, she no longer gets up and moves around repeatedly throughout the entire night and she’s not as stiff in the morning. I’ve also noticed she’s sleeping less during the day and has more energy and is more playful. I was also very happy that there was no smell like the memory foam mattresses usually have and it didn’t need to be aired out first. The cover on this mattress is very soft and washes up and dries very nicely and is easy to get on and off. It does seem a bit thin and may rip easily so I put a blanket over it because she likes to scratch and circle around whatever she’s laying on before she lays down. I highly recommend this mattress for dogs with hip/back problems !!!!

My dog is 8 and has always preferred the couch over all else but she had major surgery that meant no jumping on the couch for quite awhile, so I decided to get some affordable dog beds. She is very picky and doesn’t like anything that “sinks” too much, doesn’t like anything with “wall” or lip, but I wanted her to still have some foam support. This fit the bill perfectly and we bought both the large and the XL. She loves them both, they are easy to clean the covers, and sometimes she actually prefers them over the couch, even though she’s healed and allowed back on. Great deal for price. The cat unfortunately loves it too and likes to bother her while she’s on it... she is a 52lb mutt and can sprawl out fully on the XL with room to spare. Pic is of the large.
