I noticed the name of the item indicates the size “small”. Does that mean this item comes in different sizes, either on Chewy or elsewhere? My Catahoula would LOVE this toy! However, it’s clear from the reviews that it’s too small for larger breeds to enjoy, so really hoping there’s a larger size!

Like a kid opening presents on Christmas

My 10lb male chews all his toys but won't destroy his small round toys. It still takes him forever to get through fabric which he just likes to toss up once toys

My 10lb male chews all his toys but won't destroy his small round toys. It still takes him forever to get through fabric which he just likes to toss up once toys are limp and floppy. I found myself coming home to see if he had discovered his surprise of three his* mouth sized plush toys that crinkle and squeak. Took him about 6 weeks of work to rip it open and he was so excited to have the balls flying in every direction when he shook it. This is definitely a toy made for him, will be buying another for his enjoyment! Almost a year later and the peas are all intact. Thank you for designing such a fun toy to experience. Newt appreciates it very much!

I thought this toy was a super cute puzzle toy. I was very wrong! In order to get to the little pea balls inside the pod, your dog has to literally tear the pea

I thought this toy was a super cute puzzle toy. I was very wrong! In order to get to the little pea balls inside the pod, your dog has to literally tear the pea pod apart. My pups (all are 6-8 lbs) would never be able to get to the peas so I cut the pods open so they could get the little pea balls (which they love!). I definitely won't buy this again.

Used tip of sharp scissors to open it

We got this for our chihuahua/dachshund mix for Christmas and he loves it! Initially, I got it with the intention that when it opened up and the peas escaped the pod, the peas would also become toys for one of our cats, but since the toy is as well made as a lot of the other reviews have stated, after a lot of play use and chewing, it still shows no signs of the seams opening up to release the peas. Thus, I am ordering another one specifically to open up myself so our cat can play with the peas.

It took him a bit longer (a couple hours) than most toys but the best part was playing fetch with the peas aferwards. He LOVES the PEAS especially because they squeek! Will buy again. As with ALL toys, dogs should be watched so they don't ingest the parts they chew off.

Oops! I definitely looked at the picture and assumed this was the kind of rip open toy that Velcro so you can reseal it. I bought it for hiding treats and it’s definitely not going to work for that. I’m disappointed but my chihuahua wasn’t so much so we’ll keep and enjoy it for what it is.
