Luke really loves his new monkey. He plays by himself or we can play tug together. Luke is able to make the monkey squeak and he can chew on the knots. I hadn’t realized when I bought it that there was a squeaker inside the monkey’s head. That’s probably why Luke loves the monkey so much because he loves to make his “babies” squeak. I call Luke’s toys his babies because he doesn’t shred them anymore, he plays with his toys so gently.

The rope goes through the entire body of the stuffed animal, so it’s not going to tear apart. The squeaker is inside the head, and isn’t too shrill either. So far he hasn’t been compelled to tear this “stuffed animal” to shreds yet. Might be the rope inside is satisfying enough to chomp down on.

I invested in a new Monkey when we adopted an additional pup and it is a total hit with her too. Sturdy, squeaks, soft and is huggable!

This was one of the first toys I got our baby from Chewy and it’s been one of the best! She managed to bite some of the monkey’s ear and paws off but several weeks later, she is more interested in the rope portion of the toy! She is only 14 weeks old so it’s been a challenge finding durable toys that her razor sharp puppy teeth won’t destroy (I hate digging for pieces in her mouth) and that are gentle enough for her baby teeth so this is just perfect! She has not managed to destroy this toy and she really enjoys it. She’ll chase after it if we throw it or just lay on the couch relaxed while chewing on the rope and holding the monkey close to her. I want to purchase more of these! Every dog is different but this toy really was a great buy for us! I would recommend it

Since first meet this monkey has become Lucky's sidekick. He sleeps & drags it with him everywhere he goes, Yes, including walks & potty outings. All this before he even discovered A couple days later that it squeaks. LOL!
