How often should you replace the artificial turf pad?

We recommend the following for the turf pad: - Rinse and clean frequently: Rinse the turf pad at least twice a week with warm water and mild soap to prevent odor buildup. - Typical schedule: Replace the turf pad every 2–3 months with regular use. - Heavy use: For multiple pets or frequent use (daily or multiple times per day), it may need to be replaced monthly. - Light use: If used only occasionally or by a small dog, it might last up to 3–4 months before needing replacement.

How do you keep this mat from sliding?

The Frisco Indoor Dog Grass Potty Pad with Tray can be cleaned by washing it with warm water and soap. Once cleaned, it can be reused again and again.

If the 30" x 20" size is recommended for a 20lbs French Bulldog, where are there any other sizes available for the rest of us sizes??

At this time, we do not have a larger option available for this grass potty pad. It is ideal for small and medium dog breeds.

Great Option for Housebound Dogs

Received the indoor pee mat and promptly placed it where we normally leave paper pee pads in the bathroom. We only use pee pads whenever there is a long stretch when no one will be home. Our dog is trained to pee outside on walks. He occasionally will use the pee pad if necessary when we are not home. Our dog unfortunately would not use the indoor pee pad. He just sniffed it and walked away. He did however use a paper pee pad near the indoor pad. I’m hoping with time and training he’ll find this pad as a viable option. The package did not contain any instructions which I found odd. Chewy actually wrote instructions on the site that were helpful. I like the product and think it would be very useful for anyone who is training a dog or had dogs confined inside the house for long stretches of time or due to inclement weather, The grass mat reminds me of Astro turf. It is soft and grass like. The underlying tray is sturdy enough that it would be easy to dispose of the pee into the toilet without spilling although it would be nice if there was a small funnel built into one end to make that easier. The mats are washable and reusable which is great versus throwing away paper pads to fill landfill . I’ll be happy I have it during hurricane season!

She’s a little hesitant about it but it doesn’t seem to bother her too much. She hasn’t went on it yet because we’ve been staying vigilant about bringing her out but there’ll be a day we’re busy and forget. Fingers crossed she chooses wisely! The item is very well made and sturdy. It looks to be easily cleaned. Gonna just take it outside to spray down but we won’t be using the enzyme spray on it hoping the scent will attract her to potty on it rather than the rugs!

We started using towels for her to pee on because of the waste the pads were making, but they get real stinky real fast. This is a much less smelly option and holds a fair amount of pee. Weve slowly started moving it onto the back porch to reintroduce outside potty time. It was smaller than I thought and it took my dog a few days to figure it out but she likes it now. I love it and I’d love to buy a second one but the replacement grass patches are SO expensive. The replacements are almost the same exact price as the patch with the tray set. I was hoping to replace the grass once a week but that’s not going to happen for $24/patch. I see a cheaper option (different brand) on chewy but there seems to be quality control issues with those and I don’t want to take the risk. Not sure how I’m going to maintain using this because as another reviewer said, the grass patch does start to smell quite quickly and washing it doesn’t really get rid of the smell and the grass does shed.
