This spooky cardboard fortress drew the cats in quickly. There's currently three cats obsessing over it. One is on top and two are inside. It definitely is bigger than most other cardboard structures we've played with. I think mansion is a good description. It came with a packet of catnip but if your cat is sensitive I think any feline friend would find interest without. When I first took all the pieces out ...had a moment of doubt in my building abilities. The instructions are very clear and every part is labeled. I'm trying to set up a cool looking spooky area on the table but they still haven't left it alone to get off the floor. Sooooo you get enthusiastic floor photos

My cats love cardboard houses and catnip and this one is a fun Halloween themed one that was a big hit with the cats. I have four adult cats and they love the two level aspect of the house. One of my cats also really loved the bat hanging cardboard toy and had a lot of fun batting it around. It’s sturdy enough to hold an adult cat in the top level with no problem (my cats weigh around 10 lb.). It also has many edges of different thickness for those cats who love to bite and tear at the cardboard. It’s a perfect cat house for the fall and the two levels of scratching boards along with catnip makes this a lot of fun for all your cats.

Sturdy Cat House

I have some big cats (15lbs and 20lbs) and was a little concerned about the stability and durability of this house. I'm happy to report that this house is 100% capable

I have some big cats (15lbs and 20lbs) and was a little concerned about the stability and durability of this house. I'm happy to report that this house is 100% capable of supporting both my boys! Benji loves hiding in the bottom level and batting at the spider. It's stayed attached for all his efforts. Zeus (20lb cat) will lay on the top and we've had zero signs of potential collapse. It came with easy to follow instructions to assemble and way easy to put together.

My cat Indie is obsessed with this little cardboard house! He spends just about all day sleeping and rolling around on it. He’s 15 pounds, so I wasn’t sure how it’d hold up, but so far we’ve had it for a little over a week and I’m amazed at how well it’s done. Was super easy to put together, and is really cute. My only nitpick is it’d be nice if there were a couple of cut-out windows on the sides and not just the one on the back. My other cat went into it a couple times, but once I put it against the wall (effectively getting rid of the one cut out window) he’s since stopped.

Let me start by saying that this Halloween pet/cat house is really cute. That is my sole reason for giving this product 5 stars. The house design is cuteness overload! The pieces of this cardboard pet house all interlock together pretty well and the top and bottom cardboard inserts are fairly thick and sturdy. I put this together in less than 10 minutes. Yes, it is simple to put together in a snap and easy to take apart to store it for every Halloween.

Pretty easy to assemble but had a bit of a harder time putting together the top part- once I actually read the directions it was simple. Love the theme too! Came with catnip which was a plus!!

Super cute & festive addition to my cats collection. 2 out of the 3 have explored inside, one likes to sit on top and the other just lays next to it (he’s 22 lbs so he might be too big to go inside). My 3 cats are all above average size & I was worried the cardboard would be flimsy, to my surprise, it’s actually holding up well. The directions are ok, it’s pretty intuitive so you don’t really need them. It comes with 9 cardboard pieces (two of which are thick scratching pads) and you just attach the walls by bending the cardboard folds inserting them in the pre cut slits to keep everything in place. You don’t need any tools or glue, it just fits together. I had trouble getting the top scratching pad to fit into the allotted space but finally squeezed it in. Overall super cute but would recommend for kittens or smaller cats - they’d probably get better use of it.

I bought the Halloween mansion because about 3 months ago I bought the castle and our boys ended up loving it. The castle is still holding strong even though we did reinforce it a little ourselves but our boys can be a bit rough when they want to. This was super cute for Halloween. They love using it and I love having a themed cat "toy" that is festive and can count as a decoration lol. My boys are both around 13 pounds and can fit on top and inside with no problems. So far we haven't had any problems or had to reinforce it. Pretty sturdy. Easy to assemble although I would suggest the double sided tape for the 2 "bars" that hold the top, keeps them folded how they should be and easier to insert. All in all great product and I will continue to buy the double floored scratchers.

This is an adorable haunted house! I LOVE Halloween so obviously we had to get one! I love the two level idea and it is quite sturdy (and easy to put together). Inga loves her new house (we finally recycled her Christmas one from last year). She didn’t even wait for it to be finished before she went over and explored! She goes on it every day! In/out to sleep, jumping and scratching, general hang out sessions, perch to jump on toys, etc. She loves it. 100% happy with purchase. Shipping was prompt as always.
