Frisco Fold & Carry Single Door Collapsible Wire Dog Crate, Med/Large

The super large crate is heavy but well made. I did find that the instructions were inside and IMPOSSIBLE to get to to because the crate was securely broken down. Also, the plastic tray was broken in one corner in many pieces. Sounds bad but the big crate mat I put in it covers the tray so no big deal. My German Shepard puppy (50 pounds right now) will definitely fill it up and she LOVES the room in it and I find the door latches very secure

This thing is MASSIVE! I figured it'd be big but I didn't expect it to be THIS big. Not that I'm complaining! It's PERFECT for our boy. We have a 1year old large breed mix. He's already upwards of 100lbs and his kennel was just getting too small. I had anticipated needing a giant cage as he got older but it just wasn't in my budget so we got this XL cage and honestly I don't think he'll need anything else. We put a full size crib mattress in the bottom for him to sleep on. It's a little snug and has to be scrunched in the cage as it's maybe an inch to long but it fits fairly well and he seems to love it already! He's Kennel trained to be in his kennel at night and when we're not home so we put him in it to see how he would adjust and he loved he had room to actually move a little and lay out instead of having to curl up in a ball. His old kennel is next to it for size comparison as well as my husband when we first pulled it out the box!

Used this cage to take my two cats on an 11 hour car ride (Each way).Comfortably fit my two cats, one full size litter box with hood, small glass bowl with little water in it, one small bed, one blanket, and one carrying case, plus they had a little room to walk around and stretch their legs. Highly recommended. Easily collapses when not in use. Both cats seemed comfortable, snuggled together when they wanted to and also had enough space to lie separately when they felt like it as well. Only 2 minor issues- the two locks on the door of the cage rattled the entire ride of the trip. So I took two small clips and clipped them onto both the locks and on the car ride back home they barely made a sound- easy fix. Other issue was there was no small door that I could open and close to put some fresh wet food in for my cats to eat during the trip. So I made a small door on the bottom side of the cage and on the way back feeding was much easier! (Can kind of notice it in the picture). I used the extra divider piece that was included to make the mini door.. worked out great. Perfect size cage for one or two cats for traveling.

I did not buy these for my dogs. I bought 2 small (24 inch) ones for my cats. My cats love going in the dogs' kennels to lay down, and will refuse to come out. One of my cats, especially loves hers. It is her private space, and she will sleep in it for hours. The only time I shut the door is when they are eating. I do this because I have them on scheduled feeding and one cat always finishes first and then steals the other cat's food. They work really well for this. They do feel very sturdy at this size, and I really like the door locks. The only problem I have is that the production seems to have some issues. The first one I put together, went together really well. The second one would not go together for anything. The loops that the ends were supposed to go in were hitting the wire bars (see picture). I pushed and pulled, and tried every possible way to maneuver it without bending any of the wire bars. I contacted Chewy to let them know and they replaced it. The one they replaced it with, also had the same problem, but not as severe. I was able to bend it enough to get it to work. Since I was only using it for cats, I decided it would not compromise the structure enough. I hope that in the future, the production gets better.
