What is the main difference between the regular fold and carry, and the heavy duty fold and carry design?

How to measure for correct size

To select the best size for your dog we recommend that you measure the length of your dog from nose to tail. When measuring the length, be sure to add approximately 2-4 inches to the overall length, depending on the size of your dog. To determine the height of the crate you will need, measure your dog from the top of the head to the ground. If your dog has naturally erect ears, measure from the tip of the ears. To obtain the width of your crate, add approximately 2 inches for smaller breeds and 4 inches for larger breeds.

Is the black finish non toxic?

The black coating on this crate is non-toxic. Keep in mind the crate should always be used as intended and as per the instructions.

Does this crate come with the rolling pins for protecting floors that are shown in the picture?

Okay Kennel

It’s big enough for our dog and I like the locking mechanism but the ends of the metal pieces are not smoothed out. My boyfriend cut his arm trying to grab something

It’s big enough for our dog and I like the locking mechanism but the ends of the metal pieces are not smoothed out. My boyfriend cut his arm trying to grab something from inside. If you have a taller dog and they were to scratch themselves on it that would not be very good.

Great growing size!

I love that these crates grew with my puppy to their full size. We did crate training as soon as we got our dog. Giving them a small space allows them to feel cozy

I love that these crates grew with my puppy to their full size. We did crate training as soon as we got our dog. Giving them a small space allows them to feel cozy and safe, while also encouraging them to not go potty where they sleep. As he got bigger, we adjust the size of the space he had.

Not as well built as it should be

I don’t care what my pet “thinks”. And how would I know anyway. Stupid question. The welding on this wire cage was poor and came apart when we first set it up

I don’t care what my pet “thinks”. And how would I know anyway. Stupid question. The welding on this wire cage was poor and came apart when we first set it up. We had to hold it together with cable ties. We now have to do this each time we fold it down and put it back up. Pain to move.

Escape artist warning

These are nice crates and I generally trust and like the Frisco brand. Overall they are well made and very reasonably priced. That said I did notice a couple of

These are nice crates and I generally trust and like the Frisco brand. Overall they are well made and very reasonably priced. That said I did notice a couple of differences compared to another high end crate brand I own. One of my dogs is a true Houdini type escape artist and was able to push at the top front or back corners and get out enough to escape. She is a 45 lb cattle dog so she is not a small dog. And she is a cattle dog so if you know you know. She also attempted to chew her way out and did not injure herself which actually says a lot about the construction. I secured those points with heavy duty zip ties which has solved the issue but owners of determined escape artists should be aware and supervise accordingly. I also had an issue with one door but Chewy handled it promptly and replaced the crate which I appreciated. She can pretty much test the limits of any kind of enclosure with brains and brawn and my other dog has had no issues so for a normal dog this crate should be fine.

Easy to make comfortable for a nervous pup!

Arrived cracked & broken :(

Ordered this in anticipation of our new puppy, opened the box the night before going to pick him up & unfortunately the entire bottom is cracked. Such a bummer

Poor design. Tough to open and close.

The kennel itself is so tricky to open and shut. My son had a hard time closing it all the way resulting in my puppy getting his neck caught nearly suffocating himself

Bought for after care for feral cat neuter/ spay program

Nothing really

The super large crate is heavy but well made. I did find that the instructions were inside and IMPOSSIBLE to get to to because the crate was securely broken down

The super large crate is heavy but well made. I did find that the instructions were inside and IMPOSSIBLE to get to to because the crate was securely broken down. Also, the plastic tray was broken in one corner in many pieces. Sounds bad but the big crate mat I put in it covers the tray so no big deal. My German Shepard puppy (50 pounds right now) will definitely fill it up and she LOVES the room in it and I find the door latches very secure
