Frisco Birthday Volcano & Dinosaurs Hide & Seek Puzzle Plush Squeaky Dog Toy, Small/Medium

This is one of the cutest most memorable things I’ve ever bought on chewy and that’s saying a lot because I used to work for Chewy and would just recycle my paycheck. ANYWAY. My boy turned 6 and I had no idea there were 6 little dinosaurs. It became the theme of the whole birthday Pawty!!! Then I used one of the dinosaurs as a little elf on the shelf for all his special moments!! 100/10 recommended.

Shiloh absolutely loves his new volcano and dinosaur set. He has been obsessed with the raccoon and trash cans set that we got last year and takes one to bed every single night. To switch it up for his birthday this year, we tried the T-Rex volcano hide and seek. It’s large in size and great quality.I’ll have to say, it may be his new favorite! He knows how to search for the dinosaurs out of the volcano already just like his raccoon and trashcan set. Highly recommend very fun to watch him with it.

Our three year old Golden just loves these plush hide and seek toys. All of the pieces are well made and have stood up to almost daily play. The squeakers have mostly stopped working, but tiny toy squeakers never seem to last very long, so I wouldn't have expected them to. No stitching is coming apart, and the volcano is particularly sturdy. Heidi carries it around empty after she's taken out all of the dinosaurs for her brothers to play with.

I bought these dinos as an "adoption present" for my 6mo German shepherd mix puppy after I officially foster-failed with her. She has enjoyed similar hide-and-seek style toys before and I couldn't resist the party hats so it was an easy purchase decision. The dinos were a huge hit with Maggie, who is about 50lbs and playful, though not overly aggressive or destructive with her toys. Her major interactions with this toy have been extracting the dinos and either tossing them around the apartment or having "Dino Parades" where she prances around whilst squeaking one of the dinos in her mouth (to general household acclaim). After a few weeks I can say the dinos have largely held up well. All have squeakers/stuffing still in place, though some of the hats have lost their little pom-pom adornments. The more significant damage has been to the frosting volcano which has sustained large tears to the holes through which the dinos are extracted. Perhaps some reinforcements could be made in this area to improve durability. Overall we love the dinos and would consider it a very good value when one considers that you get 6 dinos for the same price as many other hide-and-seek toys which only include 3.
