Keep refrigerated. This recipe is fully cooked ready to serve! Store in the refrigerator and use within 7 days of opening. No heating or defrosting required. Feeding Instructions: Depending on the age, activity level, and condition of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted.
The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog:

*Add 1 cup for each 20 lbs beyond 65 lbs, **Using standard 8 oz measuring cup These quantities can be fed as one meal or divided into two meals based on your dog's preference. For pregnant females, gradually increase the food offered during the last four weeks of gestation up to 40% over the normal adult requirement. For lactating females, offer two to three times the normal adult requirement. For puppies, feed up to twice the normal adult requirement from four to fourteen months of age in two to three feedings. When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition. Visit your veterinarian regularly to maintain your pet’s health. Always provide fresh water.

Freshpet will be shipped frozen on dry ice and in an insulated box. This ensures the food arrives cold to you home temperature-controlled packaging designed to keep your pet’s food fresh. If for any reason the food doesn't arrive cold please reach out to Chewy customer service.

Chewy will ship the product frozen to keep it fresh. We recommend serving Freshpet food fresh from the fridge, but you can choose to freeze any unused portions for later use. Just thaw frozen portions in the fridge before serving. Be aware that you may see a slight change in color and texture when thawed, but this won’t change the nutritional value or taste of the meals.
