All Freshpet food is made in our very own Freshpet Kitchens in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Our fresh recipes are gently steam-cooked at low temperatures to preserve key nutrients, so you know your pet is getting the best nutrition possible.

Freshpet will be shipped frozen on dry ice and in an insulated box. This ensures the food arrives cold to you home temperature-controlled packaging designed to keep your pet’s food fresh. If for any reason the food doesn't arrive cold please reach out to Chewy customer service.

Chewy will ship the product frozen to keep it fresh. We recommend serving Freshpet food fresh from the fridge, but you can choose to freeze any unused portions for later use. Just thaw frozen portions in the fridge before serving. Be aware that you may see a slight change in color and texture when thawed, but this won’t change the nutritional value or taste of the meals.
