I got the eight pack of the frozen food. I mostly just use this as a topper for my dogs. It came really well packaged had ice and plenty of padding and was cold

I got home at five and 90 degree weather so I’m really impressed. I was scared it was gonna be thawed. Just waiting to see if my dogs like it as far as the other reviews about it being watery that’s typical with any fresh food when you originally open it but other than that, everything looks great and was a great deal with auto ship :)

I was impressed by the delivery because the box literally was still frosty on arrival. I unpacked the box and put the food in my freezer and let one thaw in my fridge. However, I was surprised to see that one entire sausage was not enough for one of my dogs. A whole sausage (or loaf, whatever you want to call it) is recommended for an active 60 lbs dog. My dogs are older and not very active, but very large. That said, they loved this SO much, they literally come running when I take a frozen one from the freezer. In fact, they love it so much, they even act as if smaller portions are a treat, like in the photos here since I forgot to take photos when I fed them earlier.

As the skeptic I am I was unsure about ordering frozen/fresh foods from Chewy. We generally go to the box store for this item. Now I’ll take it all back, my words and thoughts! This came in a timely fashion in a well insulated box of dry ice! It was rock solid FROZEN. Our 18yo senior is super picky, has missing teeth and intermittent GI challenges. This food is all she will eat these days, with no GI challenges since changing over. This has now been added to the autoship orders!
Am I getting what I pay for?
The food is fine. My dogs enjoy it. I have two dogs so I split it equally between them. I use my kitchen scale and noticed that the weight wasn't working out

Some of the packs didn't even weigh that total. It is a small amount, but at scale they likely shave tons.

My ShiTzu is and always has been a very picky eater. She will eat the Pet Fresh in the “log” as my husband calls it. We have tried her on the Pet Fresh in the bag

No Teeth More Energy!
My 14 year old dachshund has no teeth so I switched to fresh pet. Because she is only 8pds I decided the cost would be doable. I never expected to see her play again!

good for commercial lower priced food
chewy does very well with shipping. I even had a couple boxes stay in the garage an extra day to clean the freezer out and all of it was still very much frozen

I could not afford to use this for normal feeding even with the discount. I have a 110 pound dog and a puppy who is in the 60 pound range and will reach the 110 pounds. I give them one "loaf" split at night. They get raw food in the morning (5 pounds) . The older female is quite picky, but thinks this is such a yummy treat. The puppy eats everything in one gulp. I feed when its a bit frozen so they can knaw on it for a few minutes.

I was almost in tears when she began eating. She has gained back half of her lost weight. She’s happy, we’re happy, and the Vet is happy. We only hope she keeps eating no matter what happens in her life.

I have used Fresh Pet for years. I found out by the customer representative that I could get it from Chewy! It has made our life so much easier. We don't have
I have used Fresh Pet for years. I found out by the customer representative that I could get it from Chewy! It has made our life so much easier. We don't have to go from store to store when they one store is out. We get it on auto delivery and it arrives perfect. I get the rolls and use a mandolin to cut it. I cut 3 rolls at a time, and when I am done, I take all the pieces that didn't cut, put it on a cookie sheet and they all get the leftovers. We turn on the music and they have a party. They love this weekly ritual.
