With a house of multiple cats, a good quality litter is obviously important. Over the years I have learned that just because it is expensive, doesn't mean it will work. However, I was a scoopable litter that actually smells good. That's what I love about the Fresh Step Extreme Odor Control. I used it as I would any other litter. It has a fresh fragrance to it rather than having a typical cat litter scent. Also, the texture is basically the same as most other litters so add it to the box and getting the cats to try it out wasn't a challenge for us. Having 11 cats, I would tell quickly just how well it would work. After a day of using it (which is a lot of use with 11 cats) I can tell that this is a pretty good litter as far as odor control goes. The cats seem to approve and my house smells a bit fresher longer. I think it's pretty safe to say, this was a good litter option to try for our house and we actually plan on using it again in the future. Since we have multiples, we actually like using a few different litters to make sure there is "something for everyone" so to speak. What can I say?! My cats are spoiled. Bottom line, yes, this is highly recommended!

I used Hawaiian Aloha Fresh Step for years. It was perfect. Recently the manufacturer changed the formula and now the litter doesn't Clump as well. It is Gummy and sticks to the side of the pan. My cats now don't want to stand in the litter box and are urinating over the side of the litter pan. Please, to whom it may concern, change it back! I'm sorry I won't be able to purchase this again.

I’ve been using fresh step for over 8 years. It was so good and now since the formula was changed I’ll never buy it again. I would scoop the litter everyday with no problem. Now you can’t scoop it. It doesn’t harden anymore. It’s like mud. I would go through a box every 2 weeks. Since a week ago in on my 3rd box. I’m a widow with one one income and can’t afford to keep buying this. I just switched to another brand so hopefully this will be better. I need to change my delivery date to sooner so I won’t run out. Think twice before buying Fresh Step.

Cat litter isn't supposed to smell this wonderful but it does. the Hawaiian Aloha scent is absolutely amazing and if you're a Febreze fan, you already know this

Cat litter isn't supposed to smell this wonderful but it does. the Hawaiian Aloha scent is absolutely amazing and if you're a Febreze fan, you already know this. It sticks around for a long time. It's pretty strong, fair warning. Clumps well like all of Fresh Step's litter. Not particularly dusty but it can happen with some packages. This litter smells so great that my local grocery stores can't keep it in stock and if they have it, you cannot order it online for delivery.

Fresh Step Extreme Odor Control Hawaiian Aloha Scent Cat Litter pleasantly surprised me. I've never tried a low dust formula, so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was quite shocked by the lack of dust. This litter clumps great, but maybe too great. I feel like it clumps more litter than needed, though it isn't a huge deal. This litter eliminates smells really well, which was shocking. And it doesn't eliminate it with a perfume scent, either. The Hawaiian Aloha scent isn't flowery smelling, which I was a bit nervous about. There's a scent, but one that I can't quite place. Whatever it is, it does a great job at eliminating litter box scents. We L.O.V.E. it! Big thumbs up from us! We will be buying this, especially since the price is very reasonable.

I don't know what it is about this febreez Hawaiian scented litter by fresh step but the clumping is above average and for odor control, the light sweet scent is not overpowering but seems to mask most of the odor when I'm cleaning the box. I have a sealed lid box with the door, it's in the utility closet that's near my couch in the living room. I have 3 cats & one extra large box that I clean daily, every once in a while I'll skip a day if I'm too busy & forget, when this happens it would always cause odors that we could smell from the couch, but this Hawaiian litter eliminates the odor even when I forget to scoop. It has almost no dust as well. So far my top litter for odor control!

I have had cats for 30+ years so I have used almost every litter on the market at some time. I have 4 cats and 1 ginormous litter box that holds about 35# of litter

I have had cats for 30+ years so I have used almost every litter on the market at some time. I have 4 cats and 1 ginormous litter box that holds about 35# of litter. People tell me that you would never know I even had 1 cat because you never smell the litter in my home. Fresh Step is the best at odor control that I have found. I keep one auto ship for litter, one for all other things. I seldom have shipping damage that way.

THE BEST LITTER

Working at Petsmart, I've tried sooo many cat litters with my cat Blanche. I'd get ones that were on sale or brand new to our store that had a big hype. All in all

This Fresh Step Hawaiian Aloha is THE BEST with Blanche. But only this scent! The other Mountain scent doesn't seem to have as much odor control as this one. Only reason is doesn't get 5 stars, is because when first pouring it in and sometimes when scooping, there can be a lot of dust kickback. I still recommend this to any pet parent that want to try a good litter!

Have tried them all. Tidy cat is the worst dusty poorest clumping litter I have ever used. I thought I would try Fresh Step low dust. Well. This is definitively no dust. Cat loves it and the best clumping litter I have ever used. Last for quite some time. No odor and I have one large cat now. Love it ! Definitely 5 stars. And i have used the very expensive ones in the past and been dissapointed.
