A 20-pound bag of litter should last you between six and eight weeks depending on how often you change the litter and also how many litter boxes you have.

Is this Easy to change? Or would it require scrubbing due to the clumping at the bottom?

The clumping nature of this litter makes getting rid of waste super easy. The litter quickly forms a clump around liquid waste, then you remove clumps and solids daily, and dispose of in the trash. How often you deep clean your litter box depends on how many cats you have and their routines.

Is the litter flushable?

This litter and solid waste should only be disposed of in the trash. We do not recommend flushing this cat litter down the toilet.

Less litter for more $$$

So the price is still the same and you get 4-5lbs than before. The litter itself is good but it’s not worth paying more for less. Chewy themselves get a 5 star but

Chewy themselves get a 5 star but the FRESH STEP company is just being down right greedy at this point. I have been buying the same litter for 5 years now. It’s a bit ridiculous to see how much it has gone up and now they are taking out a pound of litter per bag and keep the price the same if not even raising it.

I hate to write this because I had been using extreme mountain spring febreeze litter for most of my adult cat's life. I know they are only calling this a "rebranding",

I hate to write this because I had been using extreme mountain spring febreeze litter for most of my adult cat's life. I know they are only calling this a "rebranding", but there is no doubt in my mind that they changed the formula. The scent is no where near as strong as it was before and the smell of urine completely overpowers it now. I will be transitioning my cat to a new litter, most likely of a different brand because it seems Fresh Step changed many of their formulas recently.

Poor packaging. Box of canned cat food was damaged and some cans dented and smashed cuz cat food was packed with 50 pounds of cat litter and nothing to prevent litter from sliding around inside shipping box. I will not order canned cat food from Chewy again because you don’t know how to pack a shipping box. Only the litter was supposed to be on auto ship but the full order was placed on auto ship. I ordered canned food and treats to get promo and promo code wasn’t not applied. Won’t be doing that again either

This is amazing. It actually works exactly how described. It’s the answer to all my complaints regarding previous iterations of Fresh Step. My #1 comlaint was gooey used litter sticking to the scooper and requiring extensive cleaning every time the litter box was cleaned. I was so tired of this and tried this hoping it would work. Y E S ! Thank you Fresh Step!

So disappointed! I have a driveway that is the length of a football field and Chewy does not bring their deliveries up to my house. They leave these giant very

So disappointed! I have a driveway that is the length of a football field and Chewy does not bring their deliveries up to my house. They leave these giant very heavy boxes at the bottom of the driveway. I am almost 60 years old and there is no way I can carry these boxes up to the house. I paid 2 neighborhood kids $25 each to bring them up to the house. This is sooooo unacceptable! I called customer service and they said they notated my account to bring boxes to my backdoor. The delivery person brought them up to the house ONCE and then returned to dropping the boxes off at the bottom of my driveway. Why the heck would I pay for supplies to be delivered to my home when the don't actually deliver it to my home? I have 17 cats and 2 dogs. I spend a lot of money with Chewy. But I will be cancelling my auto ships because of this and I do not intend to order from Chewy again. It's a shame because I really like Chewy but one lazy delivery driver ruined my desire to buy from them ever again. Sigh.

Hardball on the other hand does not leave residue stuck to the litter box. Going back to the Hardball and canceling my Fresh Pet subscription!
