Good Litter, Torn Bag
I bought this litter mainly because I'm in my 70s and have difficulty carrying heavy items up my stairs. Also, I'm on a budget! This is nice litter, not too fine
I bought this litter mainly because I'm in my 70s and have difficulty carrying heavy items up my stairs. Also, I'm on a budget! This is nice litter, not too fine nor dusty. And I do appreciate the easy to manage four 10.5# plastic bags. Opened the box outside and carried the bags, one by one, into the house! Unfortunately, one bag arrived torn and made a bit of a mess, plus some litter was lost. Ah well, delivery issues are the norm. I will be buying this brand in the 42# pack again, but I think next time I'll try the free and clear unscented. I'm not really seeing unusually fantastic super duper clumping power, nor smelling Febreze with this variety and yet paid $4+ more, so...we'll see! Oh, and my kitty boy Logan wants to be sure you know that he likes the texture, similar to teeny tiny sand pearls instead of grains or chunks. It doesn't stick to nor get tangled in his toe bean fur. YAY! Four thumbs up from the two of us :-)

Since I adopted Miss Lily, I've used Freshstep as their go to litter, but lately when I clean their litter the clumps of urine doesn't hold together and as soon as I scoop it up, it falls apart. I've tried other litters and wasn't satisfied and neither was Miss Lily and Mint. So I went back to using Freshstep and I've had no issues with them using their litter box. Thanks again Chewy for being a huge part of my family! Your prices ROCK!!! You always have my back and Lily's and Mint as well. You have a loyal customer here and as far as we're concerned there's no place like Chewy's to take care of us! As long as the Good Lord gives us breath I refuse to go anywhere else for my fur-babies food and accessories! God bless everyone at Chewy! May you all have a most blessed Christmas! I love my cats... but I HATE the litter box smell! Well, not anymore! When I got my 2 lil kittens over a year ago, I decided I needed to find something that worked to stop the smell (I've had 2 other cats in the past and I remembered that no matter what brand we used, it still stunk). I researched here on Chewy as well as the general Internet and I found the solution!!! Fresh Step Extreme with Febreeze is AWESOME! NO more yucky kitty poo smells! (except for when they first go, and... their lethal farts - and thank goodness those smellies dissipate after a minute or so... LOL) I would definitely recommend this litter - especially if you have multiple kitties! It's just absolutely the best I have ever used! To help control the dust when pouring the litter in the box - do so at the level of the box - not standing and pouring from way above it. **** Special Note: The reason I am giving this a 4 Star rating instead of 5 Star is that of Chewy's Shipping Policy - that the kitty litter boxes can NOT be shipped separately. This is the 3rd time we have had damaged shipments. Pictures of the last two damaged shipments attached. Order with caution. Extra packing material (brown paper) does not help to protect the shipment from the 25 lbs of weight and rigid corners of the box of litter. Though, it is great entertainment for the kitties! Added that pic too! =)

So disappointed! I have a driveway that is the length of a football field and Chewy does not bring their deliveries up to my house. They leave these giant very heavy boxes at the bottom of the driveway. I am almost 60 years old and there is no way I can carry these boxes up to the house. I paid 2 neighborhood kids $25 each to bring them up to the house. This is sooooo unacceptable! I called customer service and they said they notated my account to bring boxes to my backdoor. The delivery person brought them up to the house ONCE and then returned to dropping the boxes off at the bottom of my driveway. Why the heck would I pay for supplies to be delivered to my home when the don't actually deliver it to my home? I have 17 cats and 2 dogs. I spend a lot of money with Chewy. But I will be cancelling my auto ships because of this and I do not intend to order from Chewy again. It's a shame because I really like Chewy but one lazy delivery driver ruined my desire to buy from them ever again. Sigh.

We have been loyal Fresh Step users for decades. It *used to* be the best for controlling odor and scooping. We returned a large order of Fresh Step earlier this year, when we found it to be 1. not clumping and 2. not controlling odor. Chewy looked into it and said the formula had not changed that they were aware of; perhaps it was a bad batch. Since then we've gotten multiple "bad batches". The litter boxes, and, consequently, our house, smells strongly of ammonia. It's a horrible smell--and makes our cats smell, too. This is despite daily scooping and twice weekly dumping everything out, scrubbing and sanitizing, and refilling with clean litter. I *would not* recommend this litter to anyone--in any of the multiple scents and forms. We've tried them all and they do. not. work. I'm posting this on every variety we've purchased in the last few months.

This litter is amazing and soft to my kitties paws so they like scratching it and finally started covering their poops. It’s super easy to clean doesn’t clump to an extreme hard rock (more like soft sand but keeps everything together. Sticking to this brand fo’ evaaaaa. Ps: chewy should sponsor my kitties. I am life-butler to a cat who demands his litter be scooped every time he goes. Still, the spendier stuff left a smell and tracked all over. This doesn't track as much and covers smells extremely well. Not like that other stuff that smelled like mom had sprayed her musky perfume on cat poop. It didn't work. But this litter worked so well, we'd forget to check the box if it weren't for the constant reminders from my benevolent master, Steve. Five stars.

Before i was using different Tidy Cat litters scented and unscented. Plus other brands as well. I found myself changing the little box every 2 or 3 days & putting new litter in it instead of just cleaning it out everyday with the scoop because it would start smelling really bad really fast even when cleaning it once a day. I though i would never find a litter that was good. And almost gave up trying. Until I changed to this litter (Fresh Step Extreme) & it is the best litter i have ever used. Im so glad i decided to try it. It doesnt smell up the house at all. I can clean it out & it clumps so well that it doesnt hold smells in the littler box. I clean out the little box once a day & it stays smelling fresh. If you have a problem with smelly litter that you have to change too often & its costing you an arm & leg i highly recommend this litter! It will save you money. Its the best litter i have ever used & will be sticking with it from now on. Plus chewy has it cheaper then where i was buying it from! Win, Win! Will be ordering from chewy from now on! Thanks Chewy!
