A 20-pound bag of litter should last you between six and eight weeks depending on how often you change the litter and also how many litter boxes you have.

Is this Easy to change? Or would it require scrubbing due to the clumping at the bottom?

The clumping nature of this litter makes getting rid of waste super easy. The litter quickly forms a clump around liquid waste, then you remove clumps and solids daily, and dispose of in the trash. How often you deep clean your litter box depends on how many cats you have and their routines.

So disappointed! I have a driveway that is the length of a football field and Chewy does not bring their deliveries up to my house. They leave these giant very heavy boxes at the bottom of the driveway. I am almost 60 years old and there is no way I can carry these boxes up to the house. I paid 2 neighborhood kids $25 each to bring them up to the house. This is sooooo unacceptable! I called customer service and they said they notated my account to bring boxes to my backdoor. The delivery person brought them up to the house ONCE and then returned to dropping the boxes off at the bottom of my driveway. Why the heck would I pay for supplies to be delivered to my home when the don't actually deliver it to my home? I have 17 cats and 2 dogs. I spend a lot of money with Chewy. But I will be cancelling my auto ships because of this and I do not intend to order from Chewy again. It's a shame because I really like Chewy but one lazy delivery driver ruined my desire to buy from them ever again. Sigh.

I hate to write this because I had been using extreme mountain spring febreeze litter for most of my adult cat's life. I know they are only calling this a "rebranding", but there is no doubt in my mind that they changed the formula. The scent is no where near as strong as it was before and the smell of urine completely overpowers it now. I will be transitioning my cat to a new litter, most likely of a different brand because it seems Fresh Step changed many of their formulas recently.

Chewy themselves get a 5 star but the FRESH STEP company is just being down right greedy at this point. I have been buying the same litter for 5 years now. It’s a bit ridiculous to see how much it has gone up and now they are taking out a pound of litter per bag and keep the price the same if not even raising it.

The litter smells great, but the dust is suffocating

I bought this for the scented litter, since I wanted to ensure the room the litter box was in didn't smell like cat poop or pee. It works like a charm, the clumping

I bought this for the scented litter, since I wanted to ensure the room the litter box was in didn't smell like cat poop or pee. It works like a charm, the clumping is great, sometimes leaves small bits behind but that could be my cat scratching the bits and causing that to happen. It doesn't leave much of a trail. But the other reason I got this is for the claim that it is 99.9% dust free. I would say its 0.01% Dust free. Every time she uses the boxes a cloud of litter dusts gets kicked up into the room, and every time I clean the litter box it is suffocating, gets in my nose I can feel the dust in my mouth, it's quite literally insane and shocking. In the past 3 times I have used this brand, only once have I gotten a box that was truly 99.9% dust free, which is why I kept buying it thinking for a better outcome. Because of the inconsistency I am planning to change the litter. If you do not mind the dust and just want it for the great smell and low tracking and great clumping, I 1000% recommend this product, but if you want truly 99.9% dust free, do not buy this product.

I wasn’t happy with how my other litter was tracking everywhere even in the bed because of its very fine sand like particles. However, I was concerned about picking another brand of litter because I was convinced it was the only brand that clumped well in clumping well and good odor control on my two main issues. Well I listened to my husband‘s suggestion and try fresh step but I did not realize that the one I was ordering was scented. Nevertheless I wanted to try it out so instead of eliminating my other litter all together what I did was I pulled out an old litter box and poured a good amount of the fresh stuff in to see how it would perform I no it’s a recommendation to not give cats scented litter to use but my babies didn’t seem to mind the mistake. In fact they all took to it with no issues. The larger particles do not track farther than the litter mat and the clumping is as good if not better than the last brand I was using. I now know there is some thing that clumps just as well and I’m not limited to the one brand. Good thing too because I have tried so many brands and finding something with good auto control and clumping abilities was an absolute nightmare. The fresh step with for breeze did some thing that I’ve never seen a cat litter do. Even when I was right at the litter box to clean out the use litter I did not smell any bad cat litter. It doesn’t make you have that cat litter smell when you first walk into your home either and no one knew I had that second litter box out. It’s a great alternative for me and if they’re not having issues with it who am I to have issues with it. Although, keeping in mind that they prefer to not have a scented litter like the Febreze I ordered the fresh step simply unscented litter and will be trying it and I don’t doubt it’ll have the same amazing Performance.t
