The price went up and the quality went down and there is no protection wrapped around each box of cat litter Lost a lot of the liter from each box from the box not being heavy duty and not covered with plastic for protect and then the quality is lower grade I have used fresh step for about 20 years and they do have different quality and I was getting the best they had and they worked with the plastic protection, until now I just bought 6 of this kind and have six cats that use it , which I will go through faster now that it has been down graded in quality but cost went up

Why did they change a good thing?

I thought I had finally found a good litter. The original formula had no odor, and didn’t track at all! Then they decided to it. Now, even though it is listed as

I thought I had finally found a good litter. The original formula had no odor, and didn’t track at all! Then they decided to it. Now, even though it is listed as unscented, it has a horrible perfume smell. And it is tracking everywhere. I have had to vacuum around the litter box every day since I opened these new boxes. I guess it is back to the drawing board for me.

We have used this litter before but never from Chewy and theres gotta be something special about when it gets in your hands cause this has worked the best!! we have the Robot Litter Box 3, It clumps fantastically and does not stick to the litter box as it has before and even with 2 cats it does not smell at all! the cats use the litter box much more comfortably and not only does it make much less of a mess but it lasts much much longer! thank you so much Chewy!

I'm writing this first review to praise the old version of this product. I loved buying this item on auto ship. My cats need the clean paws granules to minimize tracking and I appreciate the unscented variety because it's a lot less offensive than some of the super strong smalls other products can have. The natural odor fighting properties do the job right. I haven't had an order come in since the new packaging but recent reviews leave me skeptical that I'll be receiving the same quality product as before. I'll be leaving a separate review once I receive some of the newly circulated product.

We’ve cycled through quite a few litter brands. This one finally does what it says. Cypher’s little feet don’t track litter through the house anymore. They are not coated in litter which he then licks off. Ew. More surprisingly, the litter box odor is almost nonexistent. I’m quite pleased with Fresh Step Clean Paws.

This litter is sooooo dusty. In the past I have found fresh step products: multicat, unscented, low tracking, clumping and not so messy. Now I'm at a loss trying to find one, sampling one after the other and cant find a good one. The dust has completely taken over my house and it's irritated the breathing of cats and humans alike.

I purchase Fresh Step because it is packaged in cardboard. Tired of all those plastic tubs that take up too much room in the refuse carts. The litter quality is excellent as well: clumps well, low dust, and doesn't track as much as some other litters. Plus, my cat likes it.

I used to use arm and hammer for years. I’ve also tried cheaper store brands. When I randomly tried fresh step for no real reason, I was SHOCKED at how much better

Good litter for the money

I haven't tried too many different kinds of litter, but this works fine and is reasonably priced. I like that it's unscented (more importantly the cats like it)

I haven't tried too many different kinds of litter, but this works fine and is reasonably priced. I like that it's unscented (more importantly the cats like it). Clumps well. The cats do track it some on the floor but I assume that happens with any litter. I add some baking soda and that controls odor pretty well.
