Very minimally dusty, doesn't clump, just swells to make it easier to scoop when wet. Pretty easy to spot clean. I prefer this over compressed wood pellets which desintegrate when wet. This is easily scooped with a cat litter scoop and more extra bonus for not containing baking soda! I find the newspaper alone helps minimize the smell.

i used this since i got my rats and i guess just got used to the amount of dust that was in there when I'd clean the litter. i finally realized it was pretty bad when my girls were sneezing so much:/ i switched to carefresh (i think its called) and the dust is sooo much better. i would not recommend this for dust control:(

Good litter for rabbit or cat, does a nice job with odor control. I had been putting the used litter into the garden, but I keep seeing tiny bits of plastic. Im guessing that this is probably from the post consumer recycled paper, and the plastic is too difficult to sort out. I don't feel good about putting plastic into the garden if I can help it.

It’s safe for pets to digest so that’s why I have it for my bunny. However I did find a hard piece of reflective plastic in mine so please check the litter before

Clover loves this litter! I used to purchase litter similar to this (locally-not through Chewy) and they stopped carrying it. I tried using pine pellets (the same that I use for my cats)-but she did NOT like it and she made sure I knew! She'd flip her litter box and I often found poop outside her box. She (and I!) love this for her! Happy bunny!

Great, USA-made litter

Great stuff made in Michigan -- and the company helps schools and churches with fundraising by buying paper they collect from the community to make this stuff. Amazing

Great litter for rats

Rat safe, dust free, and otherwise uninteresting to them as anything but litter. They don't eat/chew it or scatter it. Great stuff and a gamechanger for my boys

I started using this litter for my ferrets, and this is the best—by far—of other types of litter I’ve tried. It’s super soft and absorbent, doesn’t get tracked around their cage, and I was shocked at how well it controls odor. This litter also seemed to last longer than similar products, and I very much appreciate the resealable bag! As someone who is environmentally conscious, it’s a huge bonus that it’s made from 100% recycled paper and biodegradable. Love!!

I have been using these pellets for my rats' cage for years without any problems.... But the last two bags I got were contaminated/had quality control issues. The pellets had a VERY strong caustic chemical smell... It smelled like industrial toilet cleaner. After noticing it in the first bag, I opened the second one and took a whiff straight from the bag. It made my eyes, nose, and face burn! Absolutely not safe for rats or any other critter! There was no lot number on the bag or any way to verify that I'll be getting a non-contaminated bag in the future, so I don't know if I'll be buying this again. I'll definitely be switching to another brand for a while
