My Betta is a baby still and I put him in the 2.6 gal. Fluval Betta tank with a Cory Cat. I have learned from pass experience they go well together. Evan sleep next to each other at times. Cory Cat is a great vacuum cleaner. He eats what falls to the bottom since Betta food is micro pellets that drop fast. I use "Omega One" sinking catfish pellets. Feed 2x daily.

Set up was quick and easy with clear instructions. Tank is nice, but a thicker, stronger plastic base would be nice for strength. Larger than my previous tank, so decided to place on kitchen counter near living room. After the substrate cloudiness settled, I could see in each side clearly, but not through the front - mirror effect is real. So this morning I decided to remove the water and move tank to dining room sideboard. Then I realized the top is not flat due to it being antique. With one review stating leaked after 2 weeks, I did not want to chance that. So I have packed up the entire kit to store since I have nowhere else to put it on this level of our home, which is where we live 95% of the time. I do not feel that a return is proper route since it has been unpacked and is used. Not even sure Chewy would accept anyway.
