It's a nice Deep Dome

Wanna leave a review and pics for this. Have seen some reviews where the switch goes out apparently, I use a timer so I don't think it would happen to me anytime

Wanna leave a review and pics for this. Have seen some reviews where the switch goes out apparently, I use a timer so I don't think it would happen to me anytime soon. Anyways the dome is putting off good heat, but I wouldn't use a 150 watt bulb in it since the limit is only 160 watt. I just use a 100 w. Here are some pics to show off it's size. Hope this helps

I went through multiple lighting fixtures and this is by far the best one for aquatic turtle tanks. Many advertised on this website for reptiles are really not for them at all and this brand says that you can use them for aquatic turtles. I have the Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand along with the Fluker's Sun Spot Bulb, 100-watt and I've been using them for a week with no problems. This bulb is better than the (Zoo Med PowerSun UV Mercury Vapor Reptile Lamp) which I ordered twice and the bulb blew out both times which I had to get refunds for. I would 100% recommend this product!

I have purchased several of these for my Bearded Dragon and these are just like the light bulbs as they work for a while then something happens and they go out one way or the other. Some of them the switch stopped turning off and on correctly and others the wire becomes delicate where if you touch it just right it may turn off and soon just doesn't work at all. However I give it 3 stars and keep buying them since the others are pretty much the same way and there's not much else to choose from. Keep a close eye on them.

Quit working after a year

I got the one rated for 160 watts for my Bearded Dragon. It kept shutting off even though I only had a 75 watt basking light on it and no one touched the switch

I thought it was the bulb, but after purchasing and trying several bulbs, it still kept shutting down. I recently tried it with a 100 watt CHE on my Python and it seemed to work at first, but I went in to check on her and she and the tank was stone freaking cold!!! I put a Zoo Med on her and will NEVER try Flukers light fixtures again!! This think has given me problems from day one since I got it.
