my bearded dragon is eating less & isnt getting enough calcuim. is it ok to just give it to them with out food or water ?

Answer by ChewyApr 25, 2018
It is not safe to feed this supplement to your reptile without food or water.

I am buying the 5oz automatic waterer for y sons beardie. It says 1/2tsp for 8oz. What would you use for 5oz?

Answer by ChewySep 27, 2018
For every ounce of water, it is recommended to add 1/16th of a teaspoon. For 5 ounces of water, you would add approximately 5/16ths of a teaspoon.

It says you can use for direct feeding but doesnt say how much or how often in a day, does anyone know ?

Answer by ChewyApr 09, 2018
The Feeding Instructions are to: Shake well before using. In water bowls, 1/2 teaspoon per 8 oz water offered daily. When adding to food: 1/2 teaspoon 3 times per week.

Can I use this for my ball python?

Answer by ChewyJun 20, 2021
This supplement is safe to use with all reptiles and amphibians, including snakes.

MUST HAVE DILUTED WITH WATER! Otherwise amazing!

My beardie is currently in heavy brumation, with refusing most food offered and only waking up on occasion with his nightly routine of running a lap around his tank

My beardie is currently in heavy brumation, with refusing most food offered and only waking up on occasion with his nightly routine of running a lap around his tank before going back to sleep. (Yes, his food is kept in the tank, and yes, he runs past it every time.) Well, I decided to get this and dilute it with some water in a small feeding bowl and introduced it to him during his latest routine I was there for. And he actually seemed to like it! Just this last routine he indicated on his own to the water bowl, so we filled it, added a single drop, and he loved it! We're hoping to switch his diet back to normal once his brumation ends and he's willing to eat whole things again, but until then this works wonders for him!

Haven't tried product yet, but ....

I ordered this product and haven't actually used it yet, so will update my review later based on how I feel it works/my bearded dragon responds, but I just wanted

I ordered this product and haven't actually used it yet, so will update my review later based on how I feel it works/my bearded dragon responds, but I just wanted to note : I ordered because it says in description you can feed directly to pet, but upon receiving the product and reading the instructions it specifically says on the box DO NOT feed directly to your pet. If it is not safe to give your pet directly, without mixing in with food or water, the description needs to be updated / changed because this is not accurate and could potentially cause harm if someone is just going off the product description.

I have been using fluker's liquid calcium for my anoles. They are bioactive and many feeders breeding in tank. I add 5 drops per cup of misting water as they drink off the leaves. They are still doing great 2 years later and the calcium in the misting water has benefitted all isopods and feeders in the tank as they need calcium also.
