Have a very picky box turtle. Offer him this 1 or 2 times a week on different days than his greens and fruit. Sometimes I scatter them in his eating area so he will forge for his food. Good choice for the protien in his diet. Being that he is older (40+?) I try not to over do it with these. Glad I found something he likes.

I was so glad to see our beloved beardie Gilbert Chains enjoy this treat. I have to make sure the container is out of view or he will ask for it obsessively. I think he loves the crunchy texture. Sometimes I will add them like croutons on a salad. I think this should be a beardie staple. Especially for super active healthy dragons that need that protein. Will definitely be adding this to the autoship!

We usually feed our bearded dragon (Archimedes) live crickets and mealworms, but its a little tough making sure you ALWAYS have them. Sometimes the run to the pet store just didn't get done. We were skeptical on whether he'd like freeze dried stuff, but he gobbles this mix up (while we're dumping it out of the jar half the time)! We've been very pleasantly surprised by his willingness to eat this and will be keeping it on hand for any time a trip to the pet store just isn't going to happen right then.

I have given this to both my previous hamster and my current hamster, and both have enjoyed it! My previous hamster, Daisy, was a Syrian. She liked to take the cricket from me, bite it's head off and toss the body! It was hilarious! She would eventually eat the rest of the cricket (or grasshopper). She was an adult when I got her, so I don't think she needed as much of the nutrition these provide (and she would only eat about 1 per week or less). My current hamster, Tucker, is a Chinese. He is still growing and he gobbles these up! Since he is young and growing, I give him these more frequently - about 1-2 every 2-3 days. He seems to really enjoy them! I mostly got this mix for the crickets and grasshoppers. I have separate mealworms that I like better, so next time I think I'll get just the crickets or grasshoppers. I would definitely recommend this mix for hamster parents, especially if you are just starting out. Feeding for hamsters should be 1-2 bugs 2-3 times per week, less frequent for older hamsters. Hamsters do eat insects in the wild and they do require some animal protein in their diets, so this is a good treat option!

My bearded dragon loves these dried bugs. She gets Flukers buffet blend, but quickly eats all the bugs and picks at the red pellets. I top off the left overs with more bugs and it encourages her to eat more pellets. Also makes a good salad topper for beardies when you want to get more protein in them.
