Details

Felanorm treats feline hyperthyroidism, a commonly diagnosed disease in senior cats. The disease results in excess levels of thyroid hormone being produced in the thyroid gland. Symptoms can include weight loss, increased thirst and urination, vomiting, and excess activity. The first FDA-approved oral solution for hyperthyroidism in cats. Felanorm (methimazole) Oral Solution is an easy-to-administer, honey-flavored treatment for feline hyperthyroidism. FDA-approved and easy to give. Felanorm allows more accurate dose titration without the stress and struggles associated with pills, potentially leading to increased compliance and improved treatment outcomes. Felanorm has a proven track record - over 100 million doses have been sold in the UK and has been awarded the Easy-to-Give designation by the International Society of Feline Medicine.

Proudly sourced directly from the manufacturer or their approved distributor. Guaranteed genuine and backed by the manufacturer.

The medicine was fine but the syringe was wrong, I didn’t notice until 5 days of giving the meds and my poor cat looked horrible, I weighed her and she had lost 3 pounds! Thank god I caught it before serious damage happened. Older customers might not have caught this and their sweet baby could be in serious condition! PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL with liquid meds, my syringe was NOT a 1ml, so I was totally UNDER medicating her.

My cat has been on this medication for almost a year now, and it’s saved her life! I originally fostered her while she was starting this medication. It’s easy to use and she LOVES the flavor. She actually waits for it and reminds me to give it to her every morning and night as if it’s a treat. She’s on an odd dose which would not be as easily achievable with a pill, so I’m extremely grateful for this product!

Easy refill, size is good

Very easy to get my prescription transferred--Chewy took care of that. I like that I could get this in a larger size from Chewy. My cat needs this medication twice

It took a couple tries to get the dosing right. My cat luckily did not exhibit and side effects. Take note however, my vet prescribed in milliliters and the syringe from the pharmacy is in milligram. Just something to be aware of.

Extremely long processing time

Will never ever again order any prescription medication from Chewy again! Very unpleasant not professional people. Ridiculous policy. They want prescription to

Will never ever again order any prescription medication from Chewy again! Very unpleasant not professional people. Ridiculous policy. They want prescription to be mailed and its taking too long for them to contact my veterinarian. They didn't do any step to help me get my cat medicine. My cat could die waiting for chewy. Thanks God order at another Covertus pharmacy without any problems and get medication in 3 days. Chewy you should be ashamed of what you doing!

Felanorm liquid is the best way to give thyroid medication to cat

Before I getting Felanorm, she was prescribed a thyroid pill which was hard to administer. She constantly would spit it out and often I didn't realize she had spit it out only to find it hours later or days later. Ever since, I had the doctor change to a liquid medication (the Fleanorm she prescribed) it's been a joy to give it to Missy, just on "click" in mouth it's done. And just as important she likes it, she doesn't try to spit out. Also, since she is not spitting the medicine out, she has shown as signs of improvement.

No apparent bitterness

Cats accept it in their food or mouth without much reaction. Bitterness of methimazole is effectively masked by the honey.

I tried the pills, Beetle didn’t like them. Me either. I tried the ear cream and compounding pharmacies(2) “forgot” to put the Methimazole in. I went to 3 veterinarians, finally found ONE who cared for my cat AND ME. Had Chewy’s pharmacist get the vet’s ID and prescription over the phone. Thank you so much Chewy for walking me through that nightmare!
