How are they packed? Are they in a plastic tub or container?

Mine came in a mesh bag that they ate through and then in a cardboard box that had several openings.

Healthy and lively!

So considering the negative reviews I saw, I decided to take the chance to buy livefeed off of chewy a second time. My box of 500 arrived on a very cold rainy day

So considering the negative reviews I saw, I decided to take the chance to buy livefeed off of chewy a second time. My box of 500 arrived on a very cold rainy day but It wasn't too long until I brought the box inside. My home isn't too warm but I did read the label stating that the worms may be hybernating due to the temperature so it's best to "warm for 4-6 hours". I took this serious and then placed the unopened box infront of a heater and left it for a bit to warm up. This probably took around 4 hours as I was doing chores. Then at around the 6th hour at night I decided to open the box and heard how lively they were. I honestly thought this was my shipment of crickets due to the sound but I was wrong as I saw worms at the seams of the tape while opening the package. Great overall! There was plenty and only a tiny tiny bit dead that seemed to be cannibalized. My boyfriend even thought the mealworms were the rain due to the sound they were making while moving! In general the packaging wasn't the best but honestly is fine as they're only packed with egg carton. (I once got worms in crumpled paper) Make sure you have a good large surface to pick them out!

All arrived DEAD

They were trapped inside a box with ZERO ventilation and a horrific smell of insect feces. When I put them into my superworm bin, I realized none of them were moving

They were trapped inside a box with ZERO ventilation and a horrific smell of insect feces. When I put them into my superworm bin, I realized none of them were moving whatsoever. That’s 1,000 dead insects that I paid $32-33 for. I am quite disappointed. My reptiles will not eat prey that does not move, so there is no way to feed them off before they go bad.

This is the second time my super worms have arrived dead. The first time I dealt with the company and they put a new order on home for when I was ready. I asked

This is the second time my super worms have arrived dead. The first time I dealt with the company and they put a new order on home for when I was ready. I asked them to release them, they did, and they arrived today. The containers were cracked, all worms dead, some outside of the containers in the box. One poor guy died trying to get out the container! I'm done with worm orders here.

Ordered 500 super worms, got within 4 days, all were alive and twice the size of what I get from my local pet store. Just make sure you have something to store them

The package was HORRIBLE!

The worms were just dumped into a cardboard box and then that box was put into another one. There was no dirt or anything for the worms to dig and live in. They

First of all, they were just thrown in the box with nothing but egg carton so most escaped or got crushed, most sellers put them inside a bag but not this one they free roamed. And 2nd.... i wanted LARGE. 90% of these were babies! The only good is that the ones who were still in there and not crushed were alive. Will NOT be buying from this seller again.

Out of 500 worms only ONE was questionable. There's usually 30-40 dead, black, or dying with tons of frass and all looking dehydrated, these are plump and well taken
