I am so upset! I ordered these cricket with the expectation they some would die during shipment. But I was very upset to find that all where dead except 5. And not only where they dead but there where beetles and maggots in the container. To say I will never be ordering crickets from here again is an understatement!

My first online cricket order

This is my first time ordering crickets online. After I placed the order, I saw a bunch of reviews saying that a lot of people struggled with getting live insects. I think it really depends on where you live and the weather outside, which isn’t something you can control. I went for the large pack of 60 crickets, and since it was around 58-60F outside, the packaging was decent. Luckily, all my crickets arrived alive!

I ordered a double order because I usually feed my chameleon three to five crickets a day and we go through them so quickly this past order I ordered a double order then what I usually do and out of the box there were so many of them that were dead and starting to rot and harden also I wouldn't say parasites but there were other bugs in there with them little Beatles worms and other things and I'm going to go back to the smaller order so that they'll last because the double order lasted close to the same amount if not shorter than the regular orders amount of time because they kept dying

Not medium sized and definitely not 500 ct

I was highly disappointed as I ordered from here to make it easier to stay on top of feeding. I know that not all will arrive alive; however, about 75% were dead

I was highly disappointed as I ordered from here to make it easier to stay on top of feeding. I know that not all will arrive alive; however, about 75% were dead upon arrival, and when I ordered medium, I expected a decent-sized cricket, but these were so tiny. I have never even seen crickets this small. I may not order again.

Very bad shipping and handling

The crickets were just thrown in a little box with a couple pieces of egg cartons in with them. I opened the box 10 minutes after delivery and 95% of the crickets

Arrived in good shape

Reading the reviews I figured half would arrive dead (which is still a better deal than getting a couple crickets at a time) but a ton of super huge, very lively

Reading the reviews I figured half would arrive dead (which is still a better deal than getting a couple crickets at a time) but a ton of super huge, very lively crickets arrived in pretty good time. Will buy again.

Good packing

Frogs don’t really care as long as the crickets are alive which is where my dissatisfaction comes in the crickets although being properly housed & feed - died off

Frogs don’t really care as long as the crickets are alive which is where my dissatisfaction comes in the crickets although being properly housed & feed - died off rapidly so I list about 1:3 to trash

Second time ordering crickets and second time they've all been dead on arrival. DO NOT expect your crickets to be alive. They put them in a small box inside of another big box for no reason.

Most of the crickets were dead upon delivery. This is the second time in a week I received a cricket order and they are dead. I assume this is because they are not being packaged in a way to keep them warm. Photos attached of the day they were delivered and the next day.
