Changed the formula, big bummer

Our cat LOVED these treats and it was the only thing that would get him to take his medicine and he genuinely looked forward to taking his pill. We had this on auto ship and it was GREAT. The last shipment had new stickers on the boxes about the ‘new formula’. Our cat wants nothing to do with them. Chewy was great about the return, but we’re still so bummed this product changed :( On to find something else!

Cats are very sensitive, as you know. Not being made aware of the change is difficult when I depend on consistency and order monthly because it works. Then, my cat can only have half of it at a serving now that the package is no longer clear it is very difficult to see what he is getting. It is just so frustrating to find out about the change when I get my 15 packages. I pray he will be able to continue to have it and I will have to start cutting the packages open I guess. What a pain and again so disappointed .

My cat will not eat this now

My cat has been eating the fancy feast in the Demi glaze and apparently they’ve changed the formula and she would not eat any of it. They did reimburse me my money

Texture change makes mixing crushed medicine dificult

I'm looking for alternatives after the texture change. These were perfect for mixing in our cats medicine. Now it's extremely difficult to mix it without it sticking

Box says "Delightful NEW TASTE" - NOT!!!

I had no idea that they had changed the formula when I ordered this. I buy it for my cat that only has 5 teeth. These are the only treats he likes that he can eat,

I had no idea that they had changed the formula when I ordered this. I buy it for my cat that only has 5 teeth. These are the only treats he likes that he can eat, or I should say, these WERE the only treats he likes that he can eat. I didn't spot the declaration of "Delightful NEW TASTE" when I opened the box. The first difference I noticed was that the puree was now in a foil tube which was a welcome and positive change. Then, as I squeezed it out onto a dish, I noticed the different look. Instead of being a light, semi-transparent puree with flakes of what I assume is the fish, it was just a dark paste. Initially I thought there was something wrong with it and then I looked at the box and saw the "Delightful NEW TASTE", so I continued to dish it out and offer it to my cat. He took two licks and walked away. I tried it the next day with the same response. He used to have the Vitakraft Purrsticks. After being out of stock at Chewy for ages, this product now shows as discontinued. I have tried other soft treats but the “original” Fancy Feast Savory Puree Naturals and Vitakraft Purrsticks were the only ones he liked. It’s interesting that Purina are not using “natural” in the name on the packaging of this new formula. Based on other reviews, it looks like other cats are turning their noses up at this new formula. Hopefully Purina will get the message and bring back the old formula but keep the foil tubes!
