what is mangesium contetn on this?

My 18 year old cat absolutely loves the broth in these pouches and licks the bowl and the meat dry...but she refuses to actually eat the meats. I end up throwing that part away. Does Friskies sell just a fish broth that can be poured over dry food (that she eats)?

Fancy Feast does offer a Creamy Broth Collection and Classic Broth Collection with seafood flavors, that can be added to complement food. Keep in mind Fancy Feast Broths are intended for supplemental feeding only, and will not provide your cat with a complete and balanced diet.

Where is the fish sourced (city, country please)? ...and is it sustainable practices of sourcing? Thank you

Whenever wild-caught salmon and other fish are available, it is sourced for this diet. When not available, farm-raised Salmon and fish from the Pacific Northwest is used to ensure the recipe is still available for the members of our furry families.

My main concern is what is the phospherous and sodium levels of this product(if it's on the label)?

The Tuna, Anchovies & Whitefish contains 0.14% phosphorus and 0.35% sodium as fed. The Tuna, Shrimp & Whitefish contains 0.11% phosphorus and 0.35% sodium as fed. The Wild Salmon & Vegetables contains 0.13% phosphorus and 0.22% sodium as fed.

I purchased this mainly for the broth to put my cat's pills in. I misunderstood that when it said anchovies, it meant Whole ones, not just fine pieces. Some of my cats won't eat. I do highly recommend the "Tuna, Shrimp, and Whitefish" and "Wild Salmon." Note: These are not very practical packets, you have to get a utensil to scrape everything out. If I didn't need the broth I would not purchase or recommend these.

She is a gravy lover! I adopted her at my non kill cat shelter back in September. Her previous owner passed away. And the shelter gave whatever they had for food. And I did a lot of experiments will all different types of cat foods from the experience ones to the non expensive ones. So I decided to buy the fancy Feast Gems and try it with her, and she loved it . But I did another experiment with it and mixed it with a packet of the Fancy Feast broth on top of it and mixed it to add a little more gravy and she loves it even more. So i scored with Lucky Doodle and found her favorite wet food . And she’s just like her MAMA she loves her gravy !!

Charley has a thyroid problem, and will need to be medicated twice daily for the rest of her life. She is very difficult to medicate, and I've about run out of tricks. I thought this food, which is quite different from her normal food, might make getting those nasty pills into her. I was rather surprised with how little food was in each pouch. On the plus side, there was quite a bit of broth, just not much in terms of meat or vegetables. It was too liquid to hide a pill in, so not as useful as I'd hoped for medicating her. She did find the food delicious, though there wasn't enough to call it a complete meal. A bit pricier than canned food also. I would find it difficult to purchase except as a treat (I have five to feed, so they don't get as many treats as they'd like). It's a bit too expensive in my opinion.

Cosmo The Pussycat's Daddy here.... Fair warning: these FFCs are highly addictive, and in addition to the expense, I was getting worried about Cosmo's weight gain having one of these a day. He absolutely loves them though, but now he's on a diet and has to make do with only one on alternate days. Not much in the way of weight loss, but at least no further gains. On the non-FFC days I have to tough out some major stare-shaming. My wife and I eat a lot of salads and tuna is sometimes an ingredient, and Cosmo gets his fair share there too. I mention this because it's actually quite a bit cheaper to feed him tuna canned for human consumption. Yes, it's the price that loses the product a star.

My 14 year old siamese has become a fussy eater in her old age I found these broths and gave them a try...not, my cat tried them and loved them. Mixed in with some fancy feast cat food she gobbled her dinner down. She now begs me to get up in ghe morning to get her breakfast by biting and shaking my bedcovers until I give up and get up. My chief value according to my 2 kitties is that I am an awesome can opener!

Our almost 8 year old cat is offered wet and dry food, as well as treats every day. He prefers salmon & tuna with primavera sauce by Fancy Feast. We offer him the chicken primavera just to vary his diet, but he turns up his nose and I decided to add an occasional packet of the broth. He laps it up immediately and I realize it, too, is seafood based, but he will eat the chicken that way. I have worried that he should eat something other than seafood, but he is picky about everything we have offered and there have been numerous brands & preparations that went down the disposal!

I decided to try this pack of Fancy Feast broths to help my cat stay well hydrated, and to add variety to his diet. Turns out, Timothy loves all three flavors and keeps begging for more! The quality of the fish is very good, and comes in easy to open pouches. My cat and I are both very happy with this product!

Some liked it, some wouldn’t even try it & seemed like an overall “rather leave it than take it”. Cats can be so finicky. Plenty of liquid if your cats are just “gravy lickers”, the solids seem chunky & not so tender (if you have seniors in the mix). One of the three varieties said “with anchovies “ ~ there was in fact a whole anchovy in it, but it was as stiff & hard as a little twig, even when pretty much swimming in the liquid. It took scissors to break it into more manageable pieces. So, seemed like a nice idea, sounded like a decent food, but, in the end, ya just never know til you try it. The no’s outnumbered the ones who at least tried it.

The classic and the creamy options were helpful. The small pack size allowed me to offer her a couple of options every few hours without waste. While labelled a treat, they were easier than shreds and pates to ingest as the tumor grew.
