For Bearded Dragons up to 5 months, a basking temperature of 95 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit . A 50 watt bulb will have a temperature up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit at 8 inches from the bulb while the 75 watt bulb will have a temperature up to 97 degrees Fahrenheit.

Will the 150 watt put out 115 degree heat?

This lamp will emit light up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit, if the reptile is within 4 to 5 inches away from the bulb.

Chewy has a very bad habit of just throwing items in a large box and not consider, considering the fact that some of it is damageable. Can cat food if it gets damaged, it can spoil and make your cat sick. This is the second time in a row. This is happened. Well, I ordered a lightbulb for my bearded dragon, and they just threw it in the box as well.

The only bulb and the only supplier for me!

I'll start by saying that I always have low expectations when ordering something as fragile as a light bulb online. It was just hazardous in my opinion regardless

I'll start by saying that I always have low expectations when ordering something as fragile as a light bulb online. It was just hazardous in my opinion regardless of the company because they can't guarantee that the shipping company will be careful with it. Was I ever wrong. Chewy wraps these things well enough that they even survived a partially crushed box (the guy delivering it tripped, no harm no foul, he was fine and nothing was broken). I have yet to receive any nonworking lightbulbs from chewy from this brand or others (I've ordered about 7, both heat and UVB) and I am positively delighted. As for this bulb specifically, I had consistent and satisfactory temperatures. I ordered the 25w because my hermit crab enclosure couldn't keep temps in the winter with their heat mat, then the larger sizes for my python and tortoise enclosures. Great price for a reliable staple to reptile keepers everywhere. I plan on keeping with this brand for my bulb needs and definitely with Chewy for delivery!

Oh my goodness, this is the holy grail bulb I use for my bearded dragon to bask under. I use the 150 watt. I can't begin to express how much I love this bulb. I've been using mine for three months now and it is still going strong! My beardie loves it! It keeps him warm and toasty. I tried using another brand of bulbs a while back, ones that would give him all of what he needs in one bulb, and he didn't like them, I switched back to this one and he was his old, sweet and happy self. I can't recommend the Exo Terra Intense Basking Spot Lamp enough! You've got to try these!

Decent bulb, doesn’t last

I got this bulb in 150w for my uromastyx, he loves how warm it gets and will bask all day. It was great, but I while it was on, within 5 months of installing, it

I got this bulb in 150w for my uromastyx, he loves how warm it gets and will bask all day. It was great, but I while it was on, within 5 months of installing, it burned out and exploded, almost breaking the screen lid on my tank. It gets really warm but maybe a little too warm for what the glass can handle, other bulbs I’ve tried lasted over a year so not sure why it burned out so quick. Glad I bought two and definitely switching to a new company. If you are ok with replacing the bulb at least 20 times within your reptile’s life then this is the perfect heat bulb for you, otherwise try something else.

As expected.

Came as expected. Packaging was efficient but not wasteful. The bulb itself was not broken, scratched or damaged. The bulb fit with our lamp fixture. Within 10 minutes

Came as expected. Packaging was efficient but not wasteful. The bulb itself was not broken, scratched or damaged. The bulb fit with our lamp fixture. Within 10 minutes of installing and turning on, our bearded dragon was enjoying 110-115 temps. This bulb still reaches appropriate temperatures 2-4 weeks after installing. We will be ordering again.
