Best Food Around

When I first brought my Dalmatian home, I was feeding him Blue Buffalo puppy food, mostly because of all the hype that was associated with the brand of “how good the food was.” Shortly after he started to have major digestive issues; his stools were CONSTANTLY abnormally soft and he almost always had diarrhea. After taking him to the vet, I was recommended to try Eukanuba. After I was able to get his stool back to normal using some pumpkin purée, I started to feed him the Eukanuba puppy food for large breeds. Immediately I noticed improvements in his stool and digestion. Overall he seems much healthier and I don’t plan on changing his food ever again. I definitely learned to do research on food and treats before I feed them to my dog. I will always recommend to my friends that they ask their vet about Eukanuba!

Very happy with this purchase. We started off with EaglePak Puppy but our puppy just wasn't interested. Even when we mixed it with scrambled eggs, hamburger, etc, he would eat everything else and leave the kibble behind. We gradually switched over to Blue Buffalo Puppy and he liked the taste better than EaglePak but developed runny stools, gas, and started scratching all over. We supplemented with pumpkin to help with the runny stools and began searching for yet another brand that he would like and that would agree with his stomach. After doing a bunch of research and reading customer reviews we decided to introduce Eukanuba Puppy. Thank goodness it worked! Moose loves the taste and his stools are back to normal (no need for pumpkin). Wahoo!

Finally a food that works for our lab pup!

We got our black lab at 8 weeks old and did not like the food the breeder was giving her as corn was the first ingredient, so we switched her over to something else

We got our black lab at 8 weeks old and did not like the food the breeder was giving her as corn was the first ingredient, so we switched her over to something else. She kept having loose stools, and we ruled out worms or parasites by taking her to the vet multiple times. Our vet said she uses Eukanuba for her adult lab mix, so we figured we would try it. After going through 3 other brands, we finally found one that works for her! She is 4 months old now. Her digestion is doing wonderful on this food, and her coat is super shiny! I like how chicken is the first ingredient. We will be sticking with Eukanuba from now on.

I've experimented w/ several brands and formulas over the years, but have returned to my tried and true Euk LBP 11 yrs ago after seeing uneven growth issues in my Labrador puppies when trying the other foods. The balanced and scaled back calcium levels in the Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy help my lines grow as slowly as possible, very uniformly and most importantly-- soundly-- so they can enjoy an active adulthood well into their senior years.

I switched to Eukanuba after used many popular , natural foods that never seem to work and give me what warrant the prices too. I had fed Eukanuba over 30 yrs ago with great results so when I seen it in my local store I decided to research it after all my dogs were struggling with their coats and one had developed a food allergy for the first time. I read through info in their food and then review after review of peoples experiences many with long histories of feeding their foods and with such great results. I decided why not and with me having 6 dogs being able to buy a 30 and 40lb bags of food was exciting too. My pack is on puppy , adult and Senior foods and all our doing great 2 mos in. The puppy food I am very impressed with , it smells great, my soon to be 15 mos old loves it, stool is beautiful, with very little smell , quantity and his coat is amazing . His energy is great and if this continues he will continue on in large breed adult

Good food...but

@Eukanuba Do your bags usually explode upon delivery? I'm asking in earnest, bc when I attempted to lift the bag out of the Chewy box, it exploded 33lbs of puppy

@Eukanuba Do your bags usually explode upon delivery? I'm asking in earnest, bc when I attempted to lift the bag out of the Chewy box, it exploded 33lbs of puppy chow that I wasn't prepared to clean up. Now, if this is some sort of contest where I win something because my bag was the one that exploded, then fine. I'm in. If not, please consider some other recepticle to house your *amazing* puppy food in something stronger since it looks like I'm a customer for doggihood. And yes, Zuma helped "clean up."

Seems Good But A Bit Skeptical

My pup shows she likes this food since we started it 2 weeks ago. Every serve she finishes everything and not even a single kibble is left on her bowl. However,

However, thou her coat looks shinny, she started scratching, having ear discomfort, and skit irritation at his mouth (see photo) with this dry dog food. That's why I gave it a 4 star rating. As per vets advise, stop giving any kind of food except this Eukanuba puppy food for observation. I hope it's not the dry food. My pup likes this food...Fingers crossed XXX.

Despite what people say about this brand, I have to say that The product has been a godsend for me. When I had my dog shipped from overseas he was still a puppy

Despite what people say about this brand, I have to say that The product has been a godsend for me. When I had my dog shipped from overseas he was still a puppy and he had so many gastrointestinal problems plus he had gotten very sick from the flight. Apparently when he landed in Portugal there were some issues with cleanliness as well as severe extreme weather. When he got here I was going to feed him when I feed all of my dogs, bravo or one of the other frozen meats. He was not able to tolerate that so I made a telephone call to Texas A&M gastrointestinal lab and they were the ones that recommended this product. I was a little leery at first because of all the bad publicity but a when he got here I was going to feed him when I feed all of my dogs, bravo or one of the other frozen meats. He was not able to tolerate that so I made a telephone call to Texas A&M gastrointestinal lab and they were the ones that recommended this product. I was a little leery at first because of all the bad publicity but to be perfectly honest he is now a 7 1/2 month old beautiful German Shepherd hitting just about 75 pounds. The product is good for variety reasons and being the gastrointestinal lab said it came packed with probiotic and FOS which in layman's terms is fructooligosaccharides, I figured I would give the product a chance. As with all foods people need to give a dog food at least a couple of months to see if it is the proper food for their dog. This one has definitely been a lifesaver.

Finn has been on Eukanuba since we got him. He has always been gassy, has eye boogers, ear infections, and sometimes itchy skin. The vet thinks he has allergies, potentially to this food but we can’t be sure. Not sure what other food to try but curious if anyone else has allergy troubles with Eukanuba. The big Chewy box doubled as a crate for Finns first vet appointment, so glad I got the big bag of food :)
