My puppy was eating a common big box store brand and although it claimed to be healthy, it wasn't for my dog. For a week I kept track of the quality and number of bowel movements my dog was having. My "Scientific results" based on 10 days: 5 days of store brand 30 BMs total, 5 days of Eukanuba 14 BMs. Coat is no longer dull, stool size is much less, and number of walks outside to potty are down by just over half. In reading more, my dog's body responds better to this food than the store brand.

Flyaway Geese has working border collies trained for humane wildlife management. Our working dogs stopped eating the food they were on and had been showing digestive issues. We decided to make a change. A local feed store owner told us about the new formula with Eukanuba and the performance line with different feeds for different performance needs. We decided to try it and wow. The change in our dogs on this new food is not only noticeable in their appetite, but in their weight and coat and their performance and speed of recovery after working. For us the proof is in the performance and Eukanuba has nailed it with this feed.

As a professional Grouse and Woodcock hunting guide, I rely on my dogs and their daily performance. With close to 200 days a year in the woods, my dogs are truly hard-working. Eukanuba Premium Performance Sport 30/20 not only gives them the energy to perform day in and day out from late summer through the winter, it also keeps their coats healthy and shiny. I’ve had my Great Dane on Eukanuba 30/20 for about a year now, and he has done wonderfully on it. He still is doing great on the new formula as well. We always get compliments on his coat condition and this picky eater actually likes it. Being a vet tech and also showing my Dane in conformation, I prefer to feed a proven food that’s backed by research and feeding trails.

AMAZING RESULTS

My dog is VERY active. I had to feed 5 cups a day to help with his demanding energy. That is a ridiculous amount of food to be feeding and caused him bloat, diarrhea, terrible skin and coat, and worst of all he started to behave as if he were sick and stopped being his energetic happy self. I became seriously worried and immediately knew it was due to his nutrition. I scowered the internet and stumbled upon Eukanuba. And boy was I skeptical, all the key benefits seemed too good to be true and not to mention the price tag seemed crazy to me. But as any good owner does in a time of need I went ahead and tried it. I am so happy I did. The transition was easy and I saw no problems. I am able to feed 3 cups of food and got my spunky dog back to himself in less than 2 months of solely feeding him Eukanuba. This company now has a lifetime consumer. I've never had luck with a food that checks all the boxes to what they swear their food can do. My dog has energy to keep him going throughout the day, solid stool, beautiful coat, clean ears, better teeth and breathe. Eukanuba truly is "The best you can do for your dog."

I’ve only fed two, 40lb bags of the new formula, but my four dogs did quite well on it. I really like that they increased the calorie content in the new formula

Now equally low quality as the other brands owned by this parent company.

I had searched high and low to find a quality food for my lean and active hunting breed. I thought I found a forever brand when I found the Eukanuba brand and

I had searched high and low to find a quality food for my lean and active hunting breed. I thought I found a forever brand when I found the Eukanuba brand and specifically the performance series. HOWEVER, they changed all the formulations. The high quality ingredients were substituted with cheaper ones. The dog that had an unbelievably soft shiny coat now has dry skin and dander problems. My Lucy went from the best and most regular poops possible to soft poops and urgency. I have always felt bad for the dogs I see that have owners oblivious to what healthy GI poops actually look like. I am so disappointed in Eukanuba for abandoning this premium brand for bigger profits. This Company has dramatically underestimated their customers. They underestimated our intelligence in reading the ingredient list. They underestimated our vigilance over the outward signs of our dogs health. They Over-estimated our dedication to the "brand" instead of our dedication to the product that worked. They thought a shiny new bag would distract us maybe? Every Eukanuba customer I know is completely up in arms and running back to the performance dog food default: ProPlan products. ProPlan wasn't as good as their original products, but it is better than their current one. So my advice to you is pay less and get Purina ProPlan.

Royal Canin seems to have changed this diet for the worst. After Chewy was not carrying the diet for a few months, I went to Royal Canin (Eukanuba's parent company) to speak with the reps and then to purchase the Eukanuba 30/20 direct with a Professional Feeder discount. My Goldens do everything from hunt tests to agility, obedience, tracking to weight pull. They have done well on Eukanuba 30/20 for years. I didn't like the change to a lower quality primary ingredient, but I hadn't research the current options and was nearly out, so I ordered the food direct. The preferred pricing comes out to $1.80/pound for a 40 pound bag. After more research I have found Purina 30/20 to have the Eukanuba's primary ingredient of chicken (and also other meat options), the diet is calorically more dense by 400 Kcal, with the other additives Eukanuba is touting for a dramatically lower price of $1.17/ pound. You also need to figure the Purina is 10% more dense so far as calories, so that makes it even cheaper. For an ultra premium diet used by the top performance people, Royal Canin really needs to re-evaluate what they have done here.

Very happy with improved formula

I have 6 labs and they are all doing great on this new formula! We train and hunt a lot. My dogs did well on the previous Euk 30/20 but are doing even better now

I have 6 labs and they are all doing great on this new formula! We train and hunt a lot. My dogs did well on the previous Euk 30/20 but are doing even better now and I'm able to feed less. The people griping about the ingredients change need to do more research and talk to the company. The quality of these ingredients are what's important and you can't get that information from the ingredients list itself. It's not apples to apples comparing this to any other 30/20 premium product! My dogs love our Eukanuba and we are a customer for life!

I feed PP forever and in talking to some other hunting dog kennels I mad the switch this past June. Made a huge difference in my dogs performance this fall. They kept wight on all grouse season. In the past I had to feed extra cups that costs money. Not with the Eukanuba 30/20. And I did notice a quicker recovery after a hunt. I feed 12 English Pointers and performance is everything. Eukanuba made my bird dogs that much better this past fall. I can't wait to see how they perform after a full year on Eukanuba 30/20 performance.
