My 10 year old pomeranian was loosing his fur, teeth and throwing up constantly when eating "all natural" and "hollistic" dog foods. My vet told me Iams pays for optional extra nutritional testing that many other companies dont bother with and studies have shown Eukanuba far exceeds not only the nutritional value of other brands, but also the bioavailability, or how much nutrition is retained after digestion. This difference is incredible! In the year he has been on this food he has not thrown up once, not lost a single tooth and his long pomeranian fur is silky and pitch black like when he was young! He's like a young version of himself again. Here I was thinking I was doing the right thing buying bourgeois dog food when really Barb should have just been eating cardboard at that rate. I recommend Eukanuba to everyone I meet. It helped my sisters dog as well after he showed some extreme weight loss and colitis. He too is a new dog!

Eukanuba Small Breed satisifies all the checklist items I'm looking for in a dog food: --backed by company that does lots of research --dogs seem to like the taste --most of the protein comes from meat --small, grapenut-like, uniquely shaped kibble --doesn't follow the latest consumer fads but sticks to proven formulas that are highly nutritious. Contains corn and chicken-by-products, which are actually very nutritious and digestible. Science Diet recently caved in the face of the corn and by-product misconceptions after years of rightly defending these ingredients. --one of the only brands to offer tartar-control --gets Omega 3 from fish oil rather than flaxseed, which is not well converted to EPA and DHA. Marine-based Omega 3 can help with skin allergies, arthritis, heart and other conditions. --produces a very small, firm stool. --about the right amount of calories per cup (406). To top it off, Chewy.com has it at a great price.

I've been feeding Iams dog food for the past 30 years, from skipper my mixed poodle to Venus my German Shepherd show dog. I remember people asking me what I was feeding my German Shepherd at shows, they always thought I was feeding those all natural dog foods, while I think there is nothing wrong with those foods I feel that Iams has been around forever and as you know dog foods have been under extreme testing and majority of the dog foods are excellent for you dog. When I mention Iams Eukanuba many say I feed that now but I hear so much about this and that dog food and thought they must really be good. Best thing I can say to you, ASK YOUR VET! She/he knows your dog best and can help you choose what's best for your pet. All these dog for companies spend millions and millions on advertising trying to convince you that their product is the best for your dog.. even Iams does that, just don't be fooled by this. ASK YOUR VET!! My Yorkshire Terries LOVE this food and do very well on it, nice shiny coats, silky smooth coats which food has a big part in plus shampoo. But what you feed your dog goes right to the coat. Remember.... ASK YOUR VET.

Excellent product, I bought Eukanuba Small Breed Adult Dry Dog Food for my one year Yorkshire terrier from Chewy it’s may cost a little extra but worth it as her coat always looks silky and so lovely. Her poop doesn’t smell bad like before.

I have a Pomeranian and tried many different foods. My dog started having seizures and a recurring luxating patella. I tried Eukanuba and after a couple weeks or so, I noticed my dog stopped having seizures and stopped limping!!! I later tried another higher priced brand just to test my theory out and she started having seizures again!!! I went back to Eukanuba and the seizures stopped!!! I truly believe there is something different in the Eukanuba formula that makes a difference!!! I will never ever use anything else!!! It has been about 5-6 years since I switched exclusively to Eukanuba and still no seizures and no limp!!! EUKANUBA is the best!!
