I recently switched my dog from Fromm to Eukanuba, and the difference has been very noticeable in a good way. His stool is now consistently firm and healthy, which was something I struggled with before. Beyond that, his overall performance, energy levels, and condition have all been great, and he genuinely seems to enjoy the food. One of the main reasons I made the switch was because Eukanuba meets AAFCO standards and aligns with WSAVA guidelines, which gave me more confidence in the nutritional research and testing behind it. Knowing that veterinarians and long-term studies support the brand made a big difference in my decision, especially compared to boutique brands that may not have the same level of scientific backing. I also appreciate the kibble design, which seems to help with dental health. That was important to me when choosing a food, and it’s something I didn’t feel as confident about with other options I considered. (purina pro plan) Overall, I’m really happy with the switch. My dog is doing well, and I feel more confident in what I’m feeding him.

My dogs have been on many different high end dog food brands and I just haven’t found one that really supported the cost . My last brand before switching to Eukanuba
My dogs have been on many different high end dog food brands and I just haven’t found one that really supported the cost . My last brand before switching to Eukanuba i found my whole pack of 6 dogs coats failing. They were blowing their coats heavy in December and they coats had also become very dry. I decided that trial was over and decided to give Eukanuba try as back in the 90s it was high favored formula that I had used and had found good results. Well, it was the best choice so far. My dogs have been on it 2 mos. They love it , they love the kibble shape (so do I ) stool is great ,very faint smell to it also , weights are doing great and best of all their coats have become so soft and silky. I have Australian shepherds and Siberian huskies so we are still seeing some blowing of coats, but it’s normal heading into March here in Ohio , but nothing liked I had seen in December. This has been a very great choice so far and being able to purchase a 40lb bag is wonderful, I had miss that everything these days is in 22 plus range.

Both my pointer and gsp mix are SUPER picky to the point where they wouldn't eat food unless it had something else mixed in (like rice or meat etc). That being said, they both never leave a bowl of this stuff unfinished!! We haven't had any issues with not eating since we started purchasing this food a few months ago! They all cant get enough of it. I sometimes will just transition from large bites to small bites to give them some variety lol. Also i have noticed their coats look amazing and shiny since we switched to Eukanuba.

This food has been our family go to since the early 2000's at least. We have always had Doberman's and this food has been a tried and true for heart health, joint stability, nutrients, and has been well liked by three of our Dobies. I have a senior pitt mix who also enjoyed the food. When our budget allows, this is a no brained for us. We have between the two, 180lb of dogs we feed twice a day and we get a 40lb bag every 4 weeks.

This product is for my Black Female Labrador Retriever. She is a working Dog she guides me because I am blind. She needs to be in peak condition and this food was recommended by the trainers and breeders of my fine dog. Her coat is silky soft and I know that this is the best product I can give her. We have been feeding our dogs Eukanuba Large Breed for almost 16 years now. My parents also used Eukanuba for my childhood dogs back in the late 80s and 90s. We have 2 golden retrievers, ages 6 and 7, as well as a 4-year-old black Lab. They all thrive on this food and have had absolutely no health issues to date. We are never at the vet's office for anything more than routine vaccines and annual exams. Our dogs have beautiful, shiny coats, clean ears, bright eyes, and plenty of energy. We also had a German Shepherd who lived to be 13 on this food with absolutely no health issues at all. She simply died of old age in her sleep (13 is quite old for a GSD). We swear by Eukanuba. We once tried some of those so-called "holistic" and grain-free foods, but didn't have nearly the results that we have with Eukanuba. Plus, Eukanuba has been around for MUCH longer than a lot of these other dog food companies and have decades worth of scientific research put into their foods, so I trust them A LOT more. We are getting a Saint Bernard puppy in 4 weeks and he will be on Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy until he's old enough to transition to large breed adult. Five stars for Eukanuba!
No use by date
Although my Standard Poodle likes this food, it is a concern for me that I cannot find any freshness date on the package. I have called the Eukanuba manufacturer
Although my Standard Poodle likes this food, it is a concern for me that I cannot find any freshness date on the package. I have called the Eukanuba manufacturer and was told by the person answering the phone that their food was fresh and when I questioned how I could know that without a date he got a little testy. I know that Chewy moves the food quickly but have to wonder how old it is when Chewy gets it and how do you tell without a date anywhere on the packaging. Has anyone else wondered this? Also in the same vein, I just bought a Seresto collar from the vet and when I went to use the rebate it had expired - but in checking with the company am told that the collar is good as long as it has not been opened - well without a date again, how does one know? Is there no date protection ongoing anymore? Is this how a company guarantees their product is used no matter how Old? Again, just wondering. I think I will be checking new food for our dog - one that has a date.
