Eukanuba Adult with Lamb & Rice Canned Dog Food, 13.2-oz, case of 12

My dog was eating a different food and started exhibiting a food allergy which the vet thinks to Poultry. She was doing the foamy throw up even though the food had a prebiotic and probiotic to it. The vet suggested giving her the Pepcid at night and to change her food to a Lamb based food since the dog does not like Salmon. I searched on Chewy's site for what was offered in can form since she was throwing up the dry kibble. When I ran across this one that did not break the bank, I research it on Dog Food Advisor and this food was rated 4 out of 5 stars to be very good. So I purchased one case of this to try on my girl. She immediately loved it and I had always had trouble with her eating right away. She would doddle around but NOT now! She loves this food and she has not thrown up and I have stopped giving her the Pepcid now as well. So happy that this food works for her!

My dogs loved it but Im still unsure. Lamb and Rice are the 6th and 7th most ingredients with pork, chicken, and water being before them. When you open it the food smells like fish and looks like cheap dog food. I don't see how this can be called Lamb and Rice when theirs way more chicken and pork! I may be a bit critical but this isn't something I'd feed my dogs everyday.

Our 4 yr old GSD is NOT a picky eater. He will eat just about anything. However, when I go to grab a can of this - he immediately knows what I’m getting and runs to his food bowl and waits as patiently as possible! Lol. I add this to his dry Eukkanuba every few days as a treat and to help maintain moisture in his body. He drinks enough but sometimes the dry food makes his stills hard and dry. Adding the canned food here and there seems to balance that out. The plus is that he looks forward to eating it!!
