The Dinkins Aquatic Gardens Reef Snacklebox Three Species Copepod Blend exceeded my expectations. The copepods arrived active and well-packaged, and the 16-ounce bottle with a bigger mouth made it easy to distribute them throughout my reef tank. This bottle Was loaded with pods too. Enough for my fish to actively hunt them and to put some into my sump. I also appreciate that the blend contains three different copepod species, which helps provide a diverse live food source and supports a healthy reef ecosystem. After adding them to my tank, my fish were immediately interested, especially the copperband, dragonface pipefish, and mandarins that naturally hunt live prey. It's also reassuring to know the copepods can contribute to the overall biodiversity of the aquarium while helping consume leftover organic matter. Overall, I was very happy with the quality, packaging, and ease of use. If you're looking for a healthy live food source or want to strengthen the natural ecosystem in your reef aquarium, this is a great option.

This is an intriguing product. It came in clear with a few tiny specs of something you could see, but not much. I've kept salt water fish for over 20 years, but corals are new to me. So these products are pretty new to me as well. These live copepods are definitely working on the nuisance algae which is absolutely amazing. I did notice that my fish seem to be catching and eating more out of the water too which is really neat to watch. But mostly I've notice a big decline in the annoyance red slime algae (bacteria) that creeps in and for that i am truly grateful. I'll definitely be looking at more of these products in the future.

I received this bottle of pods earlier in the week. The bottle is good sized and there are a combination of pods in it. They were active and viable. I dumped half into my aquariums and the fish ate well. The corals inflated well. The other half of the bottle, I dumped into my refugium. I’m going to come back and amend this review when I clean my tanks. I think there should be pods growing and living. I will order this again!!!!

The product came in a cooler box with an ice pack. Although thawed, the product was still cool. Although they are tiny, you can see the copods swimming in the container. They seem to be happy in my tank. The only problem l had was that there were no instructions on how to put them in the tank. I had to search on their website. It would be good if it can be printed on the backside of the label.
