Indications: Credelio Quattro is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease and the treatment and control of roundworm, hookworm, and tapeworm infections. Credelio Quattro kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and the treatment and control of tick infestations for 1 month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 3.3 pounds or greater. Credelio Quattro is indicated for the prevention of Lyme disease infections as a direct result of killing black-legged ticks. Credelio Quattro-CA1 is conditionally approved for the treatment of infestations caused by New World screwworm (NWS) larvae in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 3.3 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information: Lotilaner, an ingredient in Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1, belongs to the isoxazoline class and has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions like tremors, incoordination, and seizures even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections before Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 administration as it is not effective against adult heartworms. The safe use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. The most frequently reported adverse reactions in clinical trials were vomiting and diarrhea. 

Credelio Quattro-CA1 is conditionally approved by the FDA pending a full demonstration of effectiveness under application number 141-619. If you suspect that your dog is infested with NWS larvae, seek veterinary care immediately for treatment to include removal of larvae and appropriate wound care.

First, we winter travel and will be in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee for 2 months and because heartworm is common in these states she wanted Poika protected. Also, because it's an all in one I don't have to give multiple pills. Poika has not done well with any other chewable pills, they always make him sick. He's had one dose of this, will do it the 1st of every month. So far, he did good and didn't get sick. Picture is of my Poika. (means boy in Finnish)

I am glad my vet recommended these. We were visiting relatives on the east coast that seem to have been Overrun with ticks. One of our older shih tzus had horrible seizures from the topical flea and tick treatment we used on her. Since then, because we live in an area with no ticks, we didn't need to use anything. I was VERY hesitant to use this on our 2 year old Shih Tzu, but with All of the ticks we saw within 24 hours of arriving on the east coast, I had to do something. Our dog tolerated his dose well and I have ordered more in case we need them.

They amended delivery instructions to go down the driveway to see the house. They still left it at the street. Medications are far to necessary and expensive for this to keep happening. The Actual Chewy drivers who deliver cat food and litter carry it to my door. You need to get a different delivery service for your medications. I will no longer use Chewy for my pets meds.

We have been trying for the past five months to administer her heartworm medication with limited success. Initially, we coated the pill in peanut butter, then cream cheese. When that didn’t work, we broke it up and mixed it into her breakfast. Most recently, we ground it into a powder and added it to her canned food without kibble, which is likely when she consumed the largest portion of the medication. However, she developed diarrhea following that attempt. In our opinion, this may have been caused by the richness of the salmon-based canned food on its own, rather than the medication itself. Given these challenges, we have requested a soft, chewable, flavored heartworm medication that may be easier for her to take consistently.
