Two weeks ago I gave my Dachy his first pill of Credelio Quattro. I was familiar with combining the plain Credelio one week to be followed the next week with the Interceptor. It worked well - no ticks, no fleas -but he hated the taste of the Interceptor. To make a long story short, last night I removed 8 live ticks from around his face! Three were embedded and bled once they were pulled out! It bothers me that I paid close to $200 for something that doesn’t work!

This caused an allergic reaction for my 4 month old puppy. In turn, causing me to endure additional vet expenses and my puppy is now on prescription food as well as other changes. Manufacturer was thorough in taking their report. Chewy could care less, and that is why I canceled all autoships and will no longer be a customer.

We have a 10 pd shih tzu who can lock her jaw and there is no getting a pill down her and she is too distrusting for cheese and pill pockets. We were doing the 6 month shot for heartworms and discovered we could disguise the flea/tick pill in liverwurst. Now we no longer have to do the shot and this combo pill seems to be just as effective on fleas and ticks (something we see here in the Smokies).

Nothing

I actually don't care for it. It is a larger hard tablet that took my puppy longer to try and eat. And I will be going back to Simpica Trio

Love that it has the heartworm and flea & tick in one tablet. Nuzzle decided he didn't like the flea & tick tablet anymore. Hopefully he likes this new tablet

Pros and cons/ Puppy

I like the “all in one” convenience vs. monthly/every 12 weeks, definitely saving some money and starting her before 6 months. Time will tell if it is as effective

I like the “all in one” convenience vs. monthly/every 12 weeks, definitely saving some money and starting her before 6 months. Time will tell if it is as effective as Bravecto and Heartgard. Some disadvantages: the weight for dosage prevents me from ordering 6 months (saving me $) and the pill is smaller, making it harder to make sure she ate it.
