I have an indoor cat who has been semi feral since she was born. She has never been an outdoor cat, was born into a foster home, and I became the litter's second foster. All her littermates were super friendly and she just... isn't. I finally caved in and kept her after 3 years because she bonded to my special needs kitty (who has since passed) and frankly, she has always been the lowest kitty on the hierarchy totem pole and not even remotely tough enough to survive as a barn cat. This kitty is now 12 years old and is socially worse after her bonded kitty passed. Recently it's gotten to the point that I can't even get my hands on her sporadically to apply flea meds and after a flea breakout in my home I had to trap her, take her to the vet, and have her anesthetized to conduct long overdue labs/fecal/urine, and apply a topical flea med. I had no idea an oral flea med existed and now am using it on all my cats during the 90 day flea cycle battle because it WORKS. My usual topical flea treatment seemed to be no match for the fleas after it's last application, but this product is more effective against these super fleas. Weird kitty will get this product every month moving forward, and if my pocket book can hold out, I'll insert it into the flea meds routine for the other cats too. I just WISH it were more affordable and did not require a vet's subscription. I love this product but it's probably not economically feasible to use on more than our little 'weirdo'.

When we moved into our new place my cat got covered in fleas. Because of this, after a while she began to occasionally hiss and swat when we pet her, and we'd also feel scabs upon doing so. She'd tear her fur out, causing frequent hairballs as well as chewing on herself, even frequently being interrupted from sleep to do so. She was also scratching so much in and around her ears that she was causing herself more injuries. She had many big and small fleas when I ran a comb through her. Other flea meds worked but only temporarily, and always heard negative things about the topical meds. I came to Credelio seeing it was supposed to last a month as well as many good reviews, and hoped this would bring my cat back to good spirits. She now sleeps like a baby, cuddling me like she used to and purring as she's falling asleep, then snoring in her sleep lol. The only time she's interrupted from sleep now is when I can't hold it any longer, have to get up to cook, or I have to go somewhere and I have no choice but to move. She also no longer tears herself up, the hairballs haven't happened for a few days now, and her injuries and scabs are healing. This may not work for everyone's kitty fur babies but for Himiko it was a miracle worker.

When crushed and mixed in with wet food my baby boy takes it no problem, he eats all his food and in return the medicine gets into his system. No holding him down and trying to force the pill and getting scratches or a claw stick in my arm. Lol, yes that actually happened to me! He is highly allergic to topical flea meds even the Seresto collar, they literally blister his skin and he loses all his hair wherever the topical or collar touches his skin. He has had zero side effects with this medication! He has to have flea protection because he’s also severely allergic to fleas as well. Very happy to have a medication to protect him that doesn’t hurt him.

We have 3 male adult cats that are mostly indoor. We wanted a preventative flea and tick treatment but weren’t crazy about the topicals. One of our cats hated the topical treatment and it was impossible to apply sometimes. We tried these chewable tablets and all three took them with no issues. We mixed it in with chewable treats and a churu. We monitored all three cats after and they all did well. No visible side effects or reactions. Only downfall is having to do it monthly vs some of the other treatments that last a few months.

I have a feral cat that is a regular in our yard. He visits my cat (who is supervised and on a leash). Once we had the feral neutered, and got his weight, we started him on flea and tick meds. He gets one pill a month. Requires no touching. We put it in his regular wet food and he eats it rigtt he up. I feel better that he is comfortable.

Our first time trying oral flea treatment. While my cat did not accept this as a “chewable” (I did have to pill her), it went down easy and clearly wasn’t bitter or offensive tasting because she didn’t freak out about it. She did not have any adverse reactions to the medication. She is indoor/outdoor and although she kept to our yard only fleas are still a huge concern, especially right now. It has been a week and we’re still ok, knock on wood! We will see if this is as effective as the topical treatment. Only reason we stopped that is because she discovered how to lick it off.

Game changer with some cons

I absolutely DREAD giving topical flea products to my cats. I've previously given them Revolution Plus. It's an effective product, however it's a mission to apply it topically and distract my cats with Churu so they don't try to run away. I put each Credelio pill in the Greenies chicken flavor pill pocket and turned it into a ball and covered it with chicken flavored Churu. All of my cats ate it with no issues. This is my first time trying Credelio, so I'm hoping it's effective like Revolution Plus in terms of killing the adult fleas and tick. However, there are cons to Credelio. It doesn't kill flea larvae, which can consume tapeworm eggs and if a cat ingests that flea larvae, then they could get tapeworms. It also doesn't treat or protect them against all ticks, roundworms, hookworms, heartworms or ear mites. Also, if your cat is infested with fleas or already has tapeworms, then Credelio won't be effective in eliminating them. Reinfestation can still occur, so it's vital to keep the environment (inside and outside) taken care of and clean as well. These are just some things to keep in mind. Due to these cons, I'm rating Credelio a 4/5 star rating. I hope one day they upgrade Credelio or create a new chewable pill to cover more things like Revolution Plus.

Works amazing #1 flea treatment

I'm a veterinarian technician of 8 years and ive used everything from advantage multi, revolution plus, revolt, and even Nexgard and I can say that no matter what

I'm a veterinarian technician of 8 years and ive used everything from advantage multi, revolution plus, revolt, and even Nexgard and I can say that no matter what I used my indoor cat that has access to a sun room so it's glass up to 4 feet high then screen windows and the fleas were jumping through the window onto my cat and no matter what I used I was still finding fleas and having to give my kitty a capstar every week to give him relief until I tried this and omg does it work GREAT! I stopped spraying my yard and everything I haven't seen a single flea and it lasts longer than 4 weeks I went 6 weeks and saw no fleas so I applied it as a precaution but it even says can last up to 6 weeks and it does. I do get the interceptor for the heartworm and parasite prevention as I live in Florida and mosquitos are horrible here. But if your having a flea infestation at home I'm telling you that this is the good stuff , no side affects but no more fleas which me and my cat are happy for. This is now my go to for flea control and it's about medium priced I say it's not expensive but not cheap but worth every penny. If Zeus could thank this flea control I know he would. Thank you chewy and the prices on here are quite affordable as well.

I’d give our cats, who were indoor/outdoor, the Advantage for years, but for the past few summers, it didn’t seem to be working. Bad enough rounding them up, holding a squirming cat on your lap, parting the fur and applying the liquid - but they would continue to scratch, and the fleas continue to jump on you! Our vet suggested we try the oral tablets. The make tuxie, Dickens, are it right alongside his regular kibble - the two old gals, Sophie, 18, and Pixie, 17, had to have the pill “shoved” down the throat - but no scratching afterwards!
