Dog no longer likes to take them...

While my Poppy girl is only around a year and a half years old. She has been on credelio since her first vet visit and I never had a problem getting her to eat them

While my Poppy girl is only around a year and a half years old. She has been on credelio since her first vet visit and I never had a problem getting her to eat them or with any side effects when I purchased it from the vets office. However, I decided to switch to chewy for convenience about 6 months ago and I ordered the 6 months supply. With that first shipment getting her to take it each month became more of a chore than something that felt like a treat with added benefits. I figured while unpleasant, it was something we could get through for the 5 following months. Until I completely forgot to change medications before the next auto ship arrived. Now I'm probably stuck with the monthly hassle of convincing my food driven dog to eat a pill wrapped in turkey for the next 6 months....

So easy!

I have a 55 pound am staff mix who is extremely food motivated. I absolutely hate topical flea and tick applications. My dog has never liked getting them applied and I hate how her fur looks afterward and accidentally touching the application site when petting her. Credelio has been a game changer - no messy liquids to apply but my girl is protected for all of our outdoor adventures. Ticks have been quite bad where we live for the last few years and we both love hiking in the woods. I do a tick scan after our walks, but I’ve missed some before and we’ll find their dead, shriveled up bodies on her later so we know it’s working! Zoey looks forward to her monthly “special treat” and eats the pill right up. If you have a slightly pickier pup, I bet feeding it with cheese or peanut butter would be well received.

My chocolate lab/pit mix Ellie is terribly allergic to fleas. The bites swell up and scab and then she loses the hair in those spots. It usually looks like she has the mange! After giving her a tablet (which was tricky because she investigates her food if she thinks we're up to something) it seemed like she felt kinda yucky the first two days, just panting a lot and extra thirsty which is typical for her. After the second day she was back to her normal. She seemed to feel better and wasn't itchy either! It's been 3 weeks and when I comb her any fleas on her are dead. There's only been a handful! This product works great. Ellie can't use many topical treatments, she has had bad reactions, almost died once! I am always apprehensive about her trying something new but I read the reviews and it seemed like a good product. I have no complaints about this!

Taste test

Our Vet recommended this product for flea control. My dog does not gobble the tablet but bites it and leaves pill pieces on the floor. She does not love the taste

Our Vet recommended this product for flea control. My dog does not gobble the tablet but bites it and leaves pill pieces on the floor. She does not love the taste of it. I have to place it at the back of her tongue and force her to swallow. IF you want feedback please consider making Credelio taste better to dogs.

Credelio has been a life saver for our guardians. The ticks and fleas in our area were becoming resistant to several of the other brands we tried. These dogs free range while protecting the farm animals from predators. They get lots of fleas and ticks, including Lyme disease. Credelio solved the problem. No fleas at all and any tick that bites is dead. No more tiny larval ticks to find and no big bloated gross dog ticks to pull. My friends claim there is no more night time scratching waking them up. Lets just hope these pests don't develop resistance.

I have 6 cats and 2 dogs we struggled forever finding a flea medicine that actually worked spend hundreds of wasted dollars til we tried Credelio they make it for dogs and cats gave 1 pill in a hotdog to each of my fur babies and within 24hrs fleas were gone and we had a bad problem but not only were they gone I have not seen a flea on any of my animals on over a yr they say to give it monthly but I did just dose them all again to be on safe side and it's been over 13months since there last dose and not one flea since we started with Credelio over a year and a half ago!!

My daughter had moved back into my home with her dog. She was living in a place where the other dogs weren’t treated, and the yard was infested. Though she bathed him before bringing him over we still ended up with a massive problem. Treating the yard, house, and finally asking the vet for help she recommended this. Both of our fur babies began treatment immediately, and wow. Within a month our fleas were gone! Now we continue it to give them, so they’re protected from bringing those critters back to the house from outings, walks, or visits to the dog park.
