Gimmicky Fun To Be Had

Interesting way to launch some balls, but loading it is kind of inconvenient when it comes to playtime with my pup. This launcher is a cute idea, definitely catering to my 90's childhood as it reminds me of a nerf gun or super soaker, but to be honest it's not the most efficient when it comes to fetch with my boy. Figuring out how to load and "cock" the launcher was a little complicated at first, but after a few tries I got the hang of it. After the first 10 paunches though, my arm was tired and I resorted to just throwing it by hand in the end. Overall, I gave it 4 stars because my dog loves fetch and any new toy is exciting to him, but not sure if I would recommend this as a "must buy"

My girl always loved fetch but this thing can launch the ball further. I love how I no longer have to touch a nasty, slobbery ball. It’s also better for my shoulder and wrist because I don’t have to throw it. It’s been an excellent training aid for her as well. She enjoys both treats and toys as a reward but I am also using it to train her as a bird dog just for fun and it has been helpful in training her to retrieve. It’s a very light weight and mobile ball launcher, we can take it anywhere to have a good time or to work on her impulse control. We absolutely love this new toy. It comes with 4 tennis balls, we haven’t even had to touch the other three yet.

I was really excited for this. We love the traditional chuck-it launcher and my dog is a ball fanatic. Did my dog love it? Absolutely -- it throws balls, what's not to love? Did the humans love it? Not so much. It's a lot of work and hand strength for a product that doesn't perform as well as the traditional chuck-it. There is very little force behind the throw so it barely goes more than 30-ish feet. You can supposedly pay extra for more power, but this one was disappointing. My 7 and 9 year olds were not strong enough to load it and when they saw how poorly it worked, they were quick to point out they can throw the ball farther than this thing launches it. It's also a bit awkward to load and seems to be unnecessarily complicated. Oh well, we'll go back to the old fashioned model!

The instructions for use are marked on the side of the launcher. The QR code that comes with it states it takes you to instructions, but it takes you directly to the website instead.

A no for us
I was excited to try this product as my yard is about 80 ft deep. The product itself is cumbersome and hard to load. In my opinion it is too large for its purpose

In my opinion it is too large for its purpose since it only dispenses i ball at a time. I did get about a 30 foot distance once. It is noisy and distracting to my dog. I am not sure as to how long the plastic parts will hold up. A good concept, but needs much improvement. To me, it is much easier to just throw a ball.
