We buy a lot of Chuckit products because they’re usually well made and can handle heavy chewers. Unfortunately, this Paraflight Dog Toy was a huge letdown. After less than 10 minutes of chewing, it was already unraveling and falling apart. The fabric strands were coming loose so quickly that I had to throw it away immediately; I wasn’t going to risk my dogs ingesting the material. For a brand that’s known for durability (and for the price), this was shockingly poor quality. It didn’t even come close to living up to the Chuckit reputation. Extremely disappointing, and definitely **not recommended**, especially if your dog is anything more than a very gentle chewer.

Our Boston Terrier has loved these for most of her 9 years, dragging me out to throw it 5-6 times a day. She normally has them shredded after a couple months and we replace it. I found a great deal online and purchased 4. Upon throwing it I noticed it did not fly as nice as the previous ones. It broke/curved hard to the left making it difficult for "Georgie Girl" to catch. If that wasn't bad enough, she had it shredded in a week. I went back to the old soggy one and it flew straight and true despite being. I got out another new one yesterday and the problem was not isolated to one unit. I sure hope the issue is remedied or I will be shopping for alternatives.

The perfect Frisbee-type toy for any size dog

The Paraflight is very durable, machine washable, flies great and is soft enough to not hurt your dog but strong enough to handle an occasional test of tug of war. My boy is a 92 lb. German Shepherd who absolutely lives to play catch and he prefers the Paraflight over a tennis ball every day of the week! He's pretty stingy with it as, once he has possession of one, he won't let it go. Over time, I found the best thing to do is to have four of them on-hand whenever we play as he can both catch and carry three of them at one time and the only way I can get him to drop them is to show him the fourth one and we're off to the races again!

We have a Pit/Rot who LOVES playing frisbee, but she is (as probably expected) a destroyer of toys. We purchased a few different frisbees from Chewy and thought we would share our results. Chuckit! Paraflight (3 Stars) The frisbee may be the best flying frisbee. We loved how soft it was for our dog to catch out of the air, and of all the frisbees, she tends to catch this one the best. While this frisbee is more durable than one would expect, if you have a strong dog or one that loves to perform the death shake, this frisbee doesn’t last long. It’s also a terrible toy to tug with, as it will rip immediately. There is a foam ring around the outside for stability. Once that ring is gone, or even bitten into, the performance declines rapidly. As a bonus, though. Also, if your dog likes to play in a pool, this frisbee is very hard and heavy to throw after it gets wet.

We love this ChuckIt! brand "frisbee!" Good flight to get him running; tough enough for tugging together; floppy enough for him to thrash and shake; durable enough for some light independent chewing/shredding; and if your frisbee skills are like mine, it's also bright enough you can find it when you throw it into the bushes!

I have a Border Collie and I have two of these soft type of "Frisbees". Cooper loves to play catch at a nearby field. I have had two of the paraflight flyers for about 10 months. Cooper gets about 6 hours of throwing time per week. The two flyers have been thrown thousands of times already. They are stained and worn but still in really good condition. If you are good at throwing a regular frisbee . . . then you'll be good at throwing this one. It takes a little adjustment in throwing style but I can easily throw these and be accurate. They are not well suited for windy days because they are so light. I highly recommend them and, in fact, I am getting ready to buy several more. I think it's good to rotate through several of them during sessions of over 20 minutes because they get so soaked with saliva.

My dog LOVES to fetch, and we have been through our share of frisbees and balls. Occasionally, if he gets too excited, he will get a bloody mouth from a frisbee from catching it too hard in his mouth. But we have NOT had that problem with this frisbee. I love that it is soft and easy for him to catch, that it flies really well, that it's light enough for him to move around, and that it can even float, if needed. We bought two, but the first one is holding up pretty well. I'll report back if he ever destroys it! :)

We all love this frisbee - humans and dog! These fly well and float in the air making it an easy and fun catch. These last a fairly long time, but we can’t leave Otto alone with it or he will tear it up. We just distract him with a chick it ball that he can chew on when we are done playing frisbee. These are nice to train your dog to play frisbee too, as they are gentle on their mouths. Highly recommended!

I love my Chuckit! frisbee so much we named our hill Chuckit Mountain. Really it's more Katy's than mine. She's faster and catches better. I'm pretty good at high flies though. Dad gives us our workout sometimes three times a day, rain or shine. What I like about our Chuckit! frisbee is how great it sails. Dad is good at line drives which really makes Katy accelerate and my pop flies that let me Get under and wait till it falls into my mouth. Dad doesn't get upset when we tug or lose our Chuckit! frisbee. He just buys more. Dad says the Chuckit! frisbee is better than plastic frisbee's for my teeth. He should know, he's had a lot of experience throwing for other Aussies, Hooter and Julio who were world class catchers. I hope the rest of you have best dog dad's and mom's too.

This is a very versatile toy. You can use it traditionally as a frisbee for fetch, but my dog also really likes to swing it around, chew it, and also play tug (as well as using it for fetch too). This is one of her absolute favorite toys out of anything we have gotten her and she can never say no to playing with it. She is only 5.5 lbs and this size works great for her. This is perfect for toy breeds or young puppies. She's so excited when playing with it that it's almost impossible to get a normal picture of her. And also, this frizbee being bright blue is great considering blue is one of the colors dogs can see the most. A lot of frisbee toys are orange or red which they can't see very well, and the color might contribute to why she likes it so much.
